Stayed at the Seafood restaurant with one night's dinner at St,Petrocs. As we remembered great food in a casual atmosphere.

Having eaten at Rick Stein's main Seafood restaurant and been very disappointed I was unsure what to expect. Fantastic greeting on arrival, a happy birthday and more info gained about Squid allergy - they take these things seriously. Nicely lit, spacious, busy and buzzing and yet still able to hear each other speak. Attentive staff, nicely paced meal not rushed... More

On arriving we were met by an exterior with no lighting and had difficulty finding our way over the uneven path to the door. Once in, the heat in every room was unbearable and yet even though they received numerous many complaints nothing was done to alleviate the situation. The food was average and the portions were so small we... More

Having visited a couple of years ago we arranged a visit with two friends, and made a bookiing for early evening. It was explained when booking, that the table would be available for two hours, which was fine. On arrival and being seated at table, the service was so swift it gave us an impression of being a little rushed.... More

We were here on a two day DB&B package which included dinner here. Their speciality is steak but there are other things as well. We enjoyed the ambiance and the excellent food. We had a red wine selected by Rick. It was good and well priced. Certainly worth a visit.

Service here is also excellent. Excellent. Staff are well trained and knowledgeable. I was delighted to see they had Campbells (Rutherhlen) Muscat. Our steaks were cooked to perfection.

Visited the bistro as part of a package. Restaurant staff very welcoming and explained everything. Service during dinner was excellent. The food is really really good and recommend having a steak although my wife had fish which she thought was very good as well.if in or near Padstow thoroughly recommend a visit.

Lovely atmosphere here, but personally preferred Ruby's bar (attached) starters were out of this world good!! The steak though was surprisingly not, the Rump was fine, but the sirloin was almost all inedible, which I wouldn't mind if this were a Wetherspoons or similar, but steak and chips at £30 I would have expected a better quality. All in all... More

We decided to be carnivores as we had booked the Seafood Restaurant the following night. The right decision without doubt. The Steaks were beautifully cooked , the atmosphere relaxed and the service outstanding.
