We were recommended The Ship Inn by a friend who lives locally, and it did not disappoint. The staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The food was delicious and it's a lovely atmosphere inside.

Nothing to write home about, took a long time before anyone acknowledged we were there. Not offered a drink before finally being asked for our food choices. Food tasted ok (nothing special). Deserts limited, poor and over priced.
Coming from the Netherlands and cruising through Cornwall, we were curious for an authentic Sunday roast.. Here we got it. Excellent vegetables, well roasted beef, tasty potatoes. Very friendly staff and the classic 'pub-feeling'. Too few lagers on tap, though. However, more than recommendable !!!
