This is a really quirky place to visit for a drink, full of clocks and other treasures. I was a bit disappointed with the food, however, was a bit plain.

Amazing pub, great food, beautifully laid out with a surprisingly large car park, wonderful antiques in bar, patio garden is a find

It is great to find such a quirky pub in the back streets of this village. When asking for a local place to eat I kept being recommended Padstow - been there and done it. This pub has clocks everywhere and serves tasty food.

We have an annual visit to the Earl and the food and the unique environment remain superb. I can heartily recommend the fillet steak as this is one of the few places I will regularly eat steak and not be disappointed (never had a bad...More

We visited the pub on a recommendation, sadly it didn't live up to expectation. The pub itself is most interesting with its collection of clocks and other antiques. The Roast Beef was excellent but the vegetable, oh dear they were so over cooked and tasteless,...More
