Had dinner in this little restaurant tucked in a quiet and narrow street in Figueres. Started with a finger licking good dish of snails with ham and aioli. The main entrees: squids prepared with Spanish ham and rice with cuttlefish and mushrooms were really good,...though a little too salty. The desserts were probably the least impressive but still good. A local white wine (Chardonay & Sauvignon Blanc) was a good pairing. Overall a very good dinner, reasonably priced. The service was impersonal but correct.More

This place has amazing sea food. The recommended soupy rice with lobster and cuttlefish was just too good. A must visit place.

Lovely food at this out of the centre restaurant yet near the Dali theatre museum. Started with melon soup, mussles and tomato and feta salad. Mains were chicken and sausage, skate wing and a rice stew with both fish and meat. Desserts were apple cake...and panacotta. Felt very authentic and reasonable value fixed price lunch menu. Highly recommended.More

Very nice interiors and excellent service. The Paella is just too good. The fish and meat is good too.

We are accidentally in the middle of Figueres. Seek a place in Trip Advisor and decide go to Can Badó...Thanks God for that! The menu was amazing: a fresh salad plus watermelon gazpacho to start and then...the big party: a black “mar i muntanya” paella....Wonderful! Everything washed down with a more than good red Empordà...Just fantastic!More

Just completed a 10 day trip around Catalonia and, unfortunately, Can Bado was our most disappointing restaurant experience. The food itself was decent, but we had terrible, terrible service. Our waitress was rude and made us feel completely unwelcome. Again, this was vastly different than...any other restaurant we visited in Spain. Do not recommend.More

No, this is not a "burger joint" - is a nice restaurant with high quality products - but one of the options was a "beef sandwich". Is was thin slices of tasty beef together with a few slices of froie placed between two crackers. It...was really good - like everything else we got.More

Slightly off the beaten track but well worth a visit. It was very busy and we had not booked but the staff happily found us an elevated table by the bar. So although we were seated highup it gave us a view into the kitchen...which I always enjoy! We only had a main due to our time constraints. Two shared a meat and seafood paella which was delicious. Another chanterelles, polpo with ham which was extremely flavoursome. And a steak which again was cooked to perfection. We all enjoyed our lunch here and wished we could have come back to try more of the menu as it's so tasty. We loved the decoration as well. Very contemporary which made what is a quite a narrow room feel wider.More

This local restaurant doesn't look like much on the outside on a side street from the main road. Our young family stopped by Figueres for lunch and we were very happy to discover this wonderful restaurant in town. Modern decor, wonderful prix fixe lunch menu....The kids loved the fish and fish. Iloved the rossejat du fideu. The service was very good. We ordered in Spanish, while our sever knew no English. I want to return to figueres just to eat here again.More

My husband and i went to the Dali Museum in Figueres and found Can Bado on Trip Advisor so we tried it. Boy, we weren't disappointed. The atmosphere was wonderful - a real neighborhood place, where everyone was friendly. No rush even though we arrived...late for lunch and the food was delicious!! It is off the beaten path, it is not a tourist trap at all. We would highly recommend itMore

Figueres is our favorite place to eat in Europe. The quality, service and value is really unmatched. Dinner for 2 with 3 courses including duck, lamb, anchovies and seafood as well as a bottle of wine only a little over 70E. Service and environment was...perfect and it was busy with locals especially families. Will have to spend more time here.More

The rice are the specialty of the local, but not them ask, by fear to be too full. We decided to order two dishes for "picar" and two starters. Good choice! The raw material is quality, and the dishes are very well, with a good...mix of flavors and textures. I liked us. Repeat to provide more dishes and rice.More
