Unfortunately this restaurant did not live up to expectations. This 16th-century aristocratic house turned hotel is past its sell by date and owner, chef Felipe Guardiola, has abandoned what could be a fine dining gourmet experience to gap year students with a lack of cooking skills.

Stayed at hotel which frankly is living off dubious advertising of years gone by. Photo not showing the state of disrepair the hotel has got itself into. The restaurant on appearance looks very nice indeed. Do not be fooled. It is under invested in terms of staff and in particular people who know how to cook. The shrimp risotto lacked... More

My husband and I called into this beautiful hotel for coffee en route back to our hotel. While we had coffee we asked to see the evening menu, we decided that we would go back & try the restaurant that evening. We received a very warm welcome from Xjavier, we chatted about the character of the hotel & he kindly... More

Lovely room. Good, friendly, multilingual service by the waiter/barman. We had a great meal of sea bass (I think), meant for 2 to share.

Excellent meal and range of wines. Don Felipe (owner) is an excellent chef! The setting of the room added to the ambience of the occasion.

We were staying elsewhere in Carmona and wandered into the Casa De Carmona with our friends to have a look at the building. We were so taken by the invitingly appointed lounge and dining areas, and the very charming host and chef, Felipe that we decided to book in for dinner. Felipe and his wife are excellent hosts and the... More

A few years ago my husband and I stayed at this charming hotel, but did not eat there. On a recent visit to Carmona with friends we dinned there for dinner. What a wonderful experience. Fillipe is not only the owner but the chef as well. Beautiful food, simply prepared and served by a delightful family friend helping out this... More

The decor in the restaurant was lovely! It was colorful and full of wonderful large horse drawings and paintings. The service was excellent, the food was so tasty and the portion were very generous. We has a wonderful evening in a great place. Very home style.
