Have visited several times since they opened. It's so much better than The Poets Rest which was a nice local restaurant but could be hit and miss with hours of opening and food wasn't always up to par. Inside Out is amazing. The new decor is far nicer, service is extremely attentive, front of house manager is on the ball,... More

We dropped into The Poets Rest on Sunday .The place is nicely done out and the staff very helpful and friendly. The food was good . The tomato chilli soup spicey and tasty , however served in a flower pot, I'd prefer a bowl. The pizza wasn't bad nothing special.

I heard from the locals that it was sold and will reopened soon as a restaurant. i can tell you that it is in a really nice building and I hope it again becomes a restaurant. Slane needs another one for sure.

What a great find. Stopped in for a quick lunch and discovered a five star gem. Soup creamy and flavorful. Huge portion. Salad was fresh and crispy. Wife's deconstructed nachos we off the hook good. Pizza is second to mine. Wood fired oven. Yum. Great service. Reasonable prices.

Friends of mine rented the top floor of the Poets Rest for the night before their wedding. The staff at the restaurant then put on a buffet style dinner for us. The food was great. And was perfect for what we were looking for. The staff were super helpful as well and were taking orders of drinks from us and... More

Visited recently and really disappointed. Staff very friendly and service good but the food was so average. Starters cold and sent back. 18 year old wouldn't finish fish and chips, fish dish poor and burger so average. As a positive the 16 year old did like the curry.

We had a lovely family meal here for our wedding anniversary with our 3 children (8,9&12). We've been a few times and it's my favourite place to eat. The pizza oven was broken but we made do. Lovely craft beers, big portions and yummy desserts. We will definitely be back again and again. Great kids menu

Wow! This place was a little island of gastronomic excellence in an unexpected place. The fish and chips was fresh and delicate with what I think were handcut fries. But it was the pizzas which were creative and fun. This place was very much a local family place which just shoots for the creative stars. And hits them. this was... More
