Great food, had the duck which I am sometimes wary of being greasy but was crispy outside & meat nice & moist..perfect, lamb shank very good. All food was a feast to the eyes, time & thought had gone into how the dishes were presented. Try the brownies with raspberry sorbet, really yummy. Well worth a visit & I'll definitly... More

Couldn't have enjoyed my meal at the Baytree any more. We were a large group, facilitated in a private dining room. The service was excellent and swift, and the menu was fabulous. Was taken aback by the quality of the food both in terms of presentation and quality. Not to be missed in Carlingford!

The Baytree is truly a jewel in the crown in the delightful village of carlingford. This restaurant had been recommended to me by a friend and it lived up to all my expectations. The food was tasty and well presented. The chicken and mushroom pie starter, along with the seafood platter was out of this world. I was in the... More

Wow! Where will I start? From the moment we walked in the door, we were welcomed and well looked after. I haven't been to a restaurant in so long where I have wanted to eat everything off the menu! As I ate my Caesar salad, chicken with mash and the ravishing raspberry roulade, I was getting food envy from all... More

We visited The Bay Tree last Saturday night with a group of friends, everything about the evening was fantastic, the service, the wine, the ambience, but most importantly the food was incredible, definitely the best restaurant in Carlingford, would highly recommend it.

Had a lovely dinner here recently with 3 friends. What a beautiful place to spend a pleasant evening in November - The food, drink and ambiance were just perfect. The staff were excellent - friendly and helpful without intruding - the chef even came out to check if everything was ok for us - and was happy with our compliments... More

We had a fantastic evening in the Baytree Restaurant and it was very reasonably priced too - we had our four year old son with us. They catered very well for him! Conor, the chef brought out our meals and had time to chat to our little fella which was a lovely touch! We (the adults) had chowder to start,... More
