My family and I visited lan Tania / Mumbai spice on Saturday night. Without an early bird menu like every other restaurant in maynooth, the lan Tania / Mumbai Spice restaurant was empty at 6.30. The restaurant is nicely decorated but it is very dark. The service was average but the food was below average and as such, the menu... More

I have never written a review before and never intended to, however this was so bad I felt I had to. I was staying in the Glenroyle, I was having a late meal and the Hotel Restaurant was closed. I ordered for take-away, it was too late to sit in, I asked them for a fork, even a plastic one,... More

We had a table for 3 last Sunday evening. Decor is nice and premises is clean. I like that you can order from an Indian menu or an Asian menu. Great selection of food on both menus. However the food was average at best. Chicken was rubbery and cashew nuts tasted stale. My daughter said the chicken satay skewers had... More

I had a complaint about my food as there was a LOT of egg in my rice noodle/vegetable dish. As it hadnt said anything about egg in this dish on the menu, i asked if i could maybe order something else. They said they always cook their rice noodles in egg and actually, you cant cook noodles without egg, which... More

Visited this restaurant for the first time on Saturday May 7th. At best an average restaurant. The restaurant decor is quite dark. The quality of the food was very average, especially the main course. I don't believe I got good value for money. I would be very reluctant to recommend this restaurant to a discerning customer of Asian food.

A well known chef advised on the radio to complain while in the restaurant, so something could be done about it. Well, don;t bother here. The beef curry was pathetic, there were four small (roughly 1 inch cubed) pieces of beef floating around with many many pieces of potato. When the manager asked if everything was ok, I told him... Have gotten a few takeaways from here recently and they have all been very good. Food is freshly prepared. Kids love the Chicken and Noodles (even to eat it out of the box). Both the indian and the thai good is good so it is great to have a choice if family are undecided on which to have.

We were so excited about going here, the service was good but the food was so bad. The quality was just so poor.
