Amazing cafe! I had the most delicious meat loaf I have ever eaten. It was cooked with geothermal heat, which I found really neat. This is a must stop and experience.

The restaurant is located in the heart of Hveragerdi town. Really popular amongst the tourists. Their food is really good despite how super expensive it is.

A decent enough place with a somewhat limited choice of dishes (all nice and fresh, though) and a huge variety of cakes. They also offer a soup buffet (good value). The cakes are unparalleled, though - simply delicious!

Called in after a long day looking at amazing places. Was quiet when we arrived but soon filled up with other tourists. Quite expensive but nice enough food with a geothermal spin. Which didn't really make any difference.

Extremly overpriced, the food is not even that good. A two minutes walk from there in the same building as the supermarket you'll find a just as good restaurant with food for half the price.

Interesting concept as everything is thermoenergy cooked. We stopped here after the hike to the hot springs. Their soup buffet was just what was needed. The sweets were tempting, but we did not try them.

It was neat to have our meal cooked by geothermal heat but the food was only decent. We tried to eat at 2 other places that night but this was the only place with available seating.

We had a good, but not stunning meal here. Comfort food well prepared but not with much finesse. The home baked bread was delicious.

We drove by this restaurant and were immediately intrigued with this place. Hverageroi, the hot springs capital of the world is a 35-minute drive from Reykjavik. Here, boiling mud pots, hissing steam vents and gurgling hot springs surround ancient lava fields. There is an abundance of geothermal energy in Iceland and it was this local cuisine at Kjot & Kunst... More
