I have visited Origo with with family, friends and business friends because of the nice ambience and archipelago buffet. Prizing compared to food and service has been satisfacotory. After today, no more. The service was just terrible with grunts and cynical comments and bad attitude....More

Good dinner, expensive. Given location I was surprised that there are no views (it is like a stone vault with hardly any windows). Might be nice to eat outside on the terrace if it ever gets warm enough in Finland.

Thank you for visiting! The building is almost 200 years old and has been a storage. We are not allowed to change the walls and to build some windows because it is protected. Welcome again, have a nice autumn!

One of the original old sea restaurants in the old building in front of the sea. We tried schrimps and salmon soup. Both good. Service was good and friendly. Even our dogs were wellcome to this place. Terrace is very nice.

I had a soup, wild duck and pannacotta. Everything was fine. Maybe I have seen too many fine dining places as this was ok but nothing special :) Now I would try some other place.

The food was well prepared. I had the chefs menu with a mushroom soup and game bird (had shot gun pellet in). Highly recommend. The beat ravioli my wife though wasn't special.

I had a very nice meal here. I thought that if Hanko had so many Swedish speakers that I'd order Swedish meatballs, but the waitress cheerfully told me that they only had Finnish meatballs ( :) ) I took them with fries, and they were...More

Restaurant Origo is the oldest warehouse restaurant in Eastern Harbour of Hanko. A la carte dining room is located in the base of the house and is lit with mainly candle lights. Famous seafood buffet is served daily and presents the best of local fishermen as well as the house kitchen. The restaurant is famous for the salmon soup and pepper steak but we serve also several local dishes as boviks lamb and local hunters game. The restaurant has a terras with nice harbour wiew. Origo is the only a la carte restaurant to hold open daily all year around.ll.
