Hank & Katie’s is such a refreshing addition to the very limited eating options in the town. It’s the best thing that has opened in a long time.
The location is on the smaller side, (it appears to seat appx 50 people inside), the facility is immaculate on the inside; but, they knock it out of the park when it comes to the quality and consistency of the food offered.
The bakery: 🧁 donuts, pies, scones, eclairs, 🍒 Cherry turnovers...all baked fresh daily on site. They are deliciously decadent! 😋
Opened for breakfast at 6am until 11am. Lunch is served from 11:00 until closing at 2pm.
You will be pleasantly surprised. The employees are a notch above - efficient, professional, pleasant and knowledgeable.
Please don’t take my parking spot!

Had a good lunch here and a fantastic breakfast here. This is a small hole in the wall, but has about everything. Their breakfast was fantastic and the regular pancakes are HUGE and very thick, fluffy, and yummy. The sausage biscuits were very good. The prices were very reasonable. The staff were all very friendly to us. Their lunch was good. The chicken fried steak was probably frozen and not homemade, but honestly still very good. The kids chicken tenders were very large and very good and came with yummy fries. Did find it odd that the kids drinks do not come with refills, so we bought our kids regular drinks. We got a few desserts as well. The coconut and chocolate pies were very good, as well as the brownie with fudge on top, and the lemon squares. They also have ice cream, shakes, donuts, and make birthday cakes (they have a catalogue inside, like the kind you would see at a grocery store with cake options).

Went July 5th...Monday of a holiday weekend for breakfast. They had a sign apologizing for slow service due to inability to hire enough staff during this time of stimulus checks and unemployment benefit increases...but our service was great. Staff was clearly working VERY hard and the food was delicious. Giant pancakes, perfect french toast, omelets, potatoes, and eggs all made perfectly. They had a beautiful display of baked desserts. We were too full to consider and heading home on a long drive or would have bought something. Look no further for brunch. Very close to the boat dock.

My Mom speciality was coconut pie. Until I tasted the pie made at this business, couldn't find one that even came close to mouthwatering, delicious, and amazing. I could eat half of a pie now just posting this review.

Excellent breakfast and service and staff kept your coffee cup filled up. They also have bakery items, we had to get a lemon bar and two cinnamon rolls to go.

Not impressed. Went there with friends. Not very crowded. Had 2 wait over an hour to get a burger, salad, grilled cheese and ckn for.
Food was cold. Felt sorry 4 the 2 servers. Food was poor.

We stopped and got items out of the bakery. We had a filled long john, cake donut, sugar cookies and lemon bars. Everything was fresh and so good.

I did to go dessert and loved everything I got. I got the lemon bar,blueberry scone and a sugar cookie. Every was Delicious!

We had an awesome experience at H&K!! The bacon was crispy, the eggs are cooked as ordered, and the pancakes....cooked perfectly and the size of the plate!! Be hungry if you order one..or two!! We bought pastries from the bakery. The cinnimon roll, fudge brownie, iced oatmeal cookies and lemon bar we ALL devine!! If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and stop in for a meal at H&Ks!!!

We were camping here and were looking forward to some morning baked goods. I previously reviewed this place and raved on it. But not today. Waited about 5 minutes before we were acknowledged then choose our goods to go.
We parked our RV in a place that didn't block anyone and informed waitress of that. She didn't like that but said ok. She boxed our numerous items and we decided to eat the cinnamon rolls in house. She did not like us asking to use saucers and said people don't usually change their minds and eat in after they said it was to go. The rolls were chilled and I didn't dare ask her to warm them. We packed up and left without finishing to reheat at home 200 miles away.
Upon leaving, I apologized for any inconvenience and she acknowledged.
I hope to return in the future and she is replaced with a friendlier version.

Lunch sandwiches were good, fries were better than average. Service was awesome. But the pie was the best!! I'd go back just for pie.
