The trading post is a good place to stop to eat and have a good variety of pies. They have some gift shops, general store, and a gas station. Plenty of parking.

On our way from Las Vegas to Phoenix, we stopped for lunch in a small town of 305+ people. The prices are good, staff is friendly in a "down-home" way. The food is historic fare served in dinners all along the famous route 66. I enjoyed a simple(from my youth days) roast beef sandwich with lettuce, tomato & mayo. Pickles &... More

This is a very well run local and independent establishment and should be a must stop. The restaurant is small, has many long time employees and a menu that shows just how good home cooking can be. Take a few minutes to visit the gift shop, buy a trinket or two and help support these hard working folks who make... More

I really admire the guts of the couple running this business as an independent entity when the whole world around them is becoming monolithic and corporatised. I liked the personal flourishes all around the place evident by the warm personal touch of the proprietors. We were on way to Las Vegas from Phoenix and stopped here for lunch. We had... More

Wife and I stopped for lunch at the Trading Post and received a very pleasant surprise! We ordered a smothered burrito for me and a 1/2 order smothered enchilada for the wife. Both dishes were the best we have had lately, and these folks are not even a Mexican Restaurant!! The homemade chili (bean and beef) was delicious and the... More

We ate breakfast and checked out the gift shop. The food was decent. I had the chicken fried steak. (They a have homemade gravy!) My husband had the burrito and said it was really good. It's a family owned business and everyone was very friendly and personable. They make you feel very welcome.

We stopped here for gas because it was 2.99 across the road and 2.69 here. This is family owned and operated with a long history. Gift shop was extensive. Food was good and reasonably priced for the middle of nowhere.

I found this little trading post shop to be great!! I also found this place to have very nice quality things for sell. Not your typical 'junky' run-of-the-mill' stuff!!! The ring I purchased was a boulder creek topaz ring and nice quality and for a reasonable price. Friendly folks. The cafe looked to have good food and delicious looking pies.... More

Nice clean local place for a quick meal and gift shopping. Breakfast Burro was amazing. Big enough for two average eaters.
