Nice short ride out to tortilla flats for some cold beer and killer chili. You can say this place is well decorated because it's covered in money. Literally. Had the chili I've heard about and yes it was good. So get out of the city and check it out

A nice scenic ride, we went past the pavement down the mountain and back up and treated ourselves here after. Covered in dollar bills the restaurant/saloon is rustic and fun and we sat on saddles at the bar. They served beer, with two local offerings, and wine and we had the chili cheese fries for an appetizer. It was a... More

It's a 17 mile drive through the rugged desert mountains, but the drive is breathtaking. The restaurant is very unique, and the food was great. One of their burgers is enough for two people. My wife's BLT sandwich was piled high with delicious bacon. The fries were good too. Come hungry because the portions are big. The decorations in the... More

We thought it might be too far to drive for lunch but the scenery was great. Once we started eating it was obviously worth the drive. Great burgers, cold beer. And our waiter, Carlos, was outstanding. And...saddles as bar stools???... Doesn't get any better than that. Enjoy.

We stopped in to the Saloon briefly just to see what our tour book had mentioned: all the dollar bills, most of which are signed by the customers who put them up, all over every square inch it seems of the ceiling and on every wall in sight! One could get rich on all of those dollars on display! Very... More

We went and here for a quick bite after our Dolly Steamboat ride. Our group had hamburgers and BBQ pork. Food was good, not exceptional but good. Service was good. Atmosphere is a lot of fun.

Yes, it your basic tourist kitsch, but you have to see the walls covered in dollar bills and sit in the real saddle bar stools. Get a burger, have a beer. Won't be the best, but it won't be the worst. I had the Cowboy Chili. Not bad, but not outstanding. Just come in to drink in the old west.... More

This was our second visit to Tortilla Flat. This time we decided to have lunch in the Saloon. Food was good I had the ham & cheese grilled and fries hot and crisp. People visiting sign and leave US $ bills that are then stapled to walls & ceiling. $350,000 and counting. No you cannot remove. Really different decor and... More

A great saloon, full of lots of memories. Warning, if you are the driver....take a pass on the alcohol. You have quite the drive out of there....
