He is lovely, his food is AMAZING and the view to all the birds eating bananas while you are there is just priceless. Ah and the smoothie with rum was also amazing! Thanks Curt!

We ate here twice during our stay and both times we had a positive experience. The fish you're eating is caught that day and is cooked perfectly. Highly recommend eating here.

Best swordfish ever. Portions are advertised to be large enough for 2 - and they are. Good place to eat in Drake but get there early, since the restaurant is quite small.

Went to this restaurant 5 out of the 7 days we spent in drake. Thankfully we found this restaurant on day 1. Reservations are recommended especially for a big group. We had 10 people in which 4 were kids that thought they hated fish but they couldn't get enough. Had Maui Maui, sailfish, wahoo, Marlin, and one more. It's always... More

This place was one of the few very good restaurants I've found in 9 months of travel in Costa Rica. Prices are very low for the quality and quantity of the food. I ate there 3 nights of the 6 nights I ate in local restaurants.

Folks, this is a no brainer. If you have a little money to spend, do yourself a favor and have dinner at this place. The two of us ate a delcious fish (which name I unfortunately forgot), served with fresh vegetables and mashed potatoes. Wow, did that taste good! And the fish filet, neatly served in a leaf, was so... More

Gringo Curt's offers a unique dining experience that combines quality food with the "real tropical flavor" of Drake Bay. The portions were huge so I definitely recommend sharing. Seating is limited in this intimate, casual and comfortable dining room. We knew it was a popular place because we couldn't get in on our first two attempts for dinner. Third try... More

We ate here a few days ago and shared the first fish option. There are only 3 options. We had Blue Marlin - the catch that day and it was delicious. Very big portion but perfect for 2 to share. I had a rum shake too also very good and pretty punchy. Would recommend.

The food was okay, very large portions. The booze smoothies were the perfect treat on an incredibly hot day.

Description
Gringo Curt's Seafood & Visitor Center was established June 2010 and our menu has not changed to date. We have pride in our small menu because it assures that we can provide freshness throughout the year by purchasing fruits, vegetables and fresh fish, locally and daily. There are many benefits to having same day caught fish but one downside is that we cannot guarantee a time that we can open. If we have fish at 12pm, we open. Thank you for your consideration and look forward to your visit Pura Vida!
