If you want good ol American cooking this is a great place. The waiters are real friendly people and the atmosphere is jovial. Lots of locals eat here and keep on coming back. Great burgers!!!

The three ladies were friendly and very nice. We ordered two hamburgers with green chile and a grilled cheese with green chile and all had macaroni salad on the side. Unfortunately we didn't have room for the homemade pies. We enjoyed our meals and chatting with other diners.

They had food, drink and bathrooms. Friendly waitress but unfortunately the restaurant itself has seen better days. Food was so so and we needed to eat but next time will pack sandwiches.

Expect to be underwhelmed. The two times I had the fried chicken it had been precooked and frozen. It still had ice in the middle.

Just absolutely awful dinner here. Fish was frozen breaded something. Baked potato was ok. Welcomed like we were a foreign beast of prey, really. Place was populated by servers holding their heads, yes, others wanting to present the check as soon as possible, drunken folks barely able to walk out the door, and an overall feeling like this place is... This poor old restaurant needs a new owner, someone with imagination and love of fresh food would be wonderful. Fortunately, it's for sale!

You will find this unpretenious local spot a wonderful place to have lunch. Charming service and excellent downhome food combine to ensure a fully stomach. Make sure you have the Navy Bean soup.

We stopped here on our way to Patagonia. We both had very good cheeseburgers but if we come back we will get the BBQ beef sandwich. We saw another couple eating it and they showed us their sandwich which looked and smelled wonderful. Apparently, they are well known for their BBQ beef. They also had a nice selection of pies,... If you want a laid back cafe type place to eat, this is it. The portions are pretty big for the price. The food is pretty good too. I enjoyed a grilled cheese sandwich and my husband ordered a BBQ pork brisket, which he loved. The gals that work here are hoot. It's worth it to stop by just to... More
