This is a very popular place in the community. The food is great and the staff is accommodating. Can't go wrong with the steak fajitas.

A very friendly wait staff that really seems to care about the guests, Wife and I had lunch. She said it was the best Taco Salad she had and believe me she eats a lot of salads. I had minn chimi. Unlike many Mexican restaurants we've eaten in I did observe the health issues that are involved with food handling,... More
We ate at La Cocina de Eva because it was the closest place to our B and B. The food is very reasonable priced and tastes good. The restaurant was packed when we arrived. It was obviously a very popular place to eat with the locals.
Eva's is probably one of the best Mexican restaurants on the White Mountains of Arizona. Eva, is very personable, friendly and she and her staff always makes your visit enjoyable.
We live in Show Low and will travel to Snowflake every once in while to go to Basha's, a friend of my husband's told him about this place,-very nice atmosphere, very quite, service was good and very quick we were surprised. Both of us had shredded beef enchiladas, and they were very good - my husband had 2 & I... More
I ordered a Poblano stuffed pepper rice and beans combo meal. Very good chips and salsa too. My wife ordered a taco a la carte.
Did not get salsa made at the table as expected but salsa was great anyway. Chips were fresh and salty, just like I like them. Ordered beef fajitas. Loved them. Lots of strip steak, expertly seasoned. Onions and peppers in abundance. Served with guacamole sour cream. My wife had cheese enchiladas with green sauce. She loved them even though the... More
The food here is very good and large portions, although we had a large table of about 12 or 13 and a few of the orders came out wrong. But although my husband ordered the beef enchiladas, the chicken enchiladas he got were still good. It is nice to see Christian values displayed on their walls.
Friendly atmosphere. Not fancy, but clean and efficient. My favorite dishes are green corn tamale and green chili enchiladas.
