The service, especially our server Dawn, appetizer, (Ahi salad), and desert, banana fosters were all fantastic. Dawn really knows her wines and what is great on the menu, take her advice every time! The broiled sword fish dish was a bit dry, which was surprising to us as normally the fish here is fantastic. We ate it anyway, but made... More

I had been here before and was glad to return since I was back in town. The crab cake appetizer is outstanding and is almost solely crab meat. The heirloom tomatoes with mozzarella were also excellent. All four of us had seafood and each enjoyed their dish. The scallops are cooked perfectly and tasty. The three fish dishes we also... More

This was our first visit to Wildfish but it will not be the last. Service was outstanding and food was delicious. The bread they served was excellent and we liked the salted butter that accompanied it. Had the BLT salad to start, it was very tasty, right amount of dressing and nicely arranged. I love scallops and have enjoyed them... More

For an upscale Downtown Scottsdale diner with a first class reputation, Wildfish made too many mistakes last nite. Lobster bisque came 4 minutes later than other appetisers. Steaks and lamb chops had to be returned because of wrong temperatures and water glasses remained unfilled. The floor manager was sympathetic, but in a quiet evening (never seen the joint so empty)... More

As a seafood lover, I had to go to this restaurant when I was visiting Scottsdale. We were celebrating our anniversary and this restaurant went above and beyond to make it really special. First of all, the food was amazing. For a seafood lover, they have anything you could possibly want. I wanted to try everything. We got an appetizer,... More

Had dinner with business associate while attending a Trade Show in Scottsdale and we were not disappointed. Did not expect much, ordering seafood in the desert, but I was pleasantly surprised as our dinner and service were very good. Restaurant is pricy but well worth the experience.

The best fish in all of Arizona. The 4 others in my party loved the Tokyo gin cocktail. The dessert blackberry cobbler made to order was great.

Maybe we got the wrong thing -- but when you pay that much for dinner it has to be exceptional. The wine was decent but not exceptional -- the Parmesan crusted fish was heavily breaded. The blackberry pie was amazing. We had better fish at two brothers in the tacos. Wouldn't return

My husband brought me here for my birthday. We sat at the bar and had a wonderful time. Ambiance was great and food was just as great. I'm originally from the east coast where there's seafood aplenty, so when I moved to the southwest, I quickly became homesick for good seafood. Believe it or not, I had one of the... More

Desiring a good meal and preferring seafood, our VALET recommended Wildfish . . . Great recommendation! The Chilean Sea Bass was almost as good as what I'm accustomed, the calamari appetizer was excellent. I had struggled with the mediocre meals we had experienced in Scottsdale, but this did not disappoint. The meals were a little more pricey, but considering everything... More

Description
The only thing primitive about Wildfish Seafood Grille is the swimmingly fresh seafood -- mostly caught the day before and shipped next day on ice. Otherwise, this cosmopolitan bistro is as sophisticated as any fine eatery in New York or Vegas. Burnished wood, dim theatrical lighting, cozy tables, a stylish exhibition kitchen and central bar with several TVs available to catch the game embellish the interior. Veteran restaurateurs Guy Villavaso and Larry Foles (Z'Tejas, Eddie V's Edgewater Grille) have created a fierce seafood-steakhouse combination, which attracts food-loving couples, ladies on a luxurious night out and sexy singles at the bar. Because Wildfish is not as wallet-busting as similar concepts in the area, go ahead and start with a spicy lump crab cake surrounded in a buttery remoulade sauce. If you're in the mood for steak, pick a finely aged filet, rib eye or veal chop.
