If you're a fan of Naples-style thin crust pizza, Pomo is your place. From the Naples-sourced oven to the ingredients, it's about as close as you can come to Italy. Both the new Scottsdale Gainey Ranch location and downtown PHX are worthy of your patronage.

We stopped in for lunch and had a mixta salad, mushroom pizza, 2 glasses of wine and 2 beers. The salad was a bit disappointing - it only contained mix greens, cheese, cucumbers and tomatoes. (I shouldn't be surprised - the menu did not indicate anything more.) The pizza was a very tasty. (The size of the pizza pie was... More

It was a Sunday night around 9:30 p.m. and this was the only restaurant open that wasn't a pub. It was close to our hotel and we didn't want o chance traveling around only to find all other restaurants were closed early because it was Sunday. Although we didn't site outside, the restaurant does have a really nice patio. The... More

Very tasty pizza, with fresh and quality ingredients. I asked for my pizza to be "well done" and it was just about perfect. Almost as good as Bianco, The restaurant is attached to a wonderful Italian market, which offers great crusty bread, among other things.

Yum, loved this place! This is true Neopolitan pizza unlike any I have found in the USA. Very nice/upscale dining atmosphere, reservations are recommended. Try the rice balls appetizer.

Go for the pizza. Fantastic dough the taste reminds me of being in San Francisco a bit of a sourdough taste! Crust is wonderful. The Mista and Kale salad that we shared around the table was also good. I would stay away from the caprese the presentation is lacking along with the taste (tomatoes are bland and only three basil... I cannot vouch for the pizza, even though the ones I seen looked amazing, but I can vouch for the pasta. My wife and I had our best meal at Pomo during our visit to Scottsdale. We were seated very quickly. The dining room was a little loud, and we were a little skeptical about our server. Things only got... More

The closest thing to the real deal. If you want to experience real Neapolitan flavors, start with Arancini or Potato Croquettes, then order a pizza Santa Lucia (in Neapolitan "Sasiccia e Friarielli", by far the most eaten pizza in Naples after the pizza Margherita) and close with a portion of profiteroles all accompanied by a beer Peroni. A great place... More

A favorite place to order a late afternoon bottle of Italian wine and a meat and cheese plate. Always really good service and personal attention. At night call in advance for a reservation. I like to sit at the outside bar if the weather is temperate.

Description
‘Pomo Pizzeria Napoletana creates the truly authentic pizza experience utilizing the same simple methods that were practiced for hundreds of years in Napoli, Italy where pizza was born and perfected. Pomo's Pizza is produced according to the Neapolitan tradition where each pizza is a unique piece of art.
We combine the slow levitation method to produce our homemade dough, all natural ingredients, and the Blast-Cooking process for 60–90 seconds at 905°C on our wood burning oven imported from Italy to lock in flavors, natural aroma and moisture. This gives the pizza a soft and digestible crust, which is the signature style of a true Napoletana Pizza.
Our pizza is made from slow-rising sourdough with a minimum of 24 hours in the rising process.
We are proud to be the First and Only APN Associazione Pizzaiuoli Napoletani and VPN Verace Pizza Napoletana certified Restaurant in Arizona. We take Neapolitan pizza seriously and you will be able to tell with every taste.
