We stayed at the Phonecian Resort this week and experienced some unusual staffing issues at the main restaurant. One evening my wife and I strolled downstairs at 6:30, and we were told we could not be seated because they were already booked solid for the next hour. Yet the restaurant was 2/3 empty! I pitched a bit of a fit,... More

We were here for Sunday Brunch after New Year. The restaurant is pretty and good with families. There were many choices. The service was ok. The waiter spilled the juice all over the table. It happens. But he wasn't looking while he poured. It was a decent buffet brunch -- but nothing was amazing. They'll make the omelet in front... More

They have a standard breakfast menu, but also offer a breakfast buffet every morning, with an expanded buffet on Sundays. Lunch is convenient and tasty.

Live Band played good music. Plenty of room to dance. The bar food was great and can have dinner there too. They do not have beer on tap. Only bottled beer. However they had good cocktails and wine.

The atmosphere was pleasant and very nicely decorated. Outdoor patio in the evening was a nice place to be, but the food is very mediocre. Service was below average. I would not go back to eat here.

We stayed at the Phoenician for 3 nights while my husband attended a conference being held there. I had my meals at the various restaurants on the premises. Il Terrazzo was one of them - I had their daily soup which very delicious and at a reasonable price. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

My husband loves a fancy hotel Sunday brunch and this one is outstanding. The presentation was beautiful with watermelon and apple animal carvings! There was an excellent omelet station- (the omelet chef warned me that those green things are jalapeños- Not green peppers). Most importantly this restaurant is serious about food allergies and sensitivities. There was an entire table of... More

Description
A casual, inviting elegance is complemented by personalized, Four-Star service to create a memorable nouveau-Italian dining experience. The signature, cool tones of the Sonoran Desert are fused with a more intimate, boutique seating design, played across the restaurant's interior as well as its spacious al fresco patio. Seasonal creations are accompanied by hand-crafted artisan breads prepared daily in-house, as well as the 2016 Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence wine list. Situated on the first floor of the main building, Il Terrazzo is easily accessible from underground parking and is conveniently located next to the resort's private dining venue, the Praying Monk, a working wine cellar.
