Famous for their authentic Mexican food this restaurant holds true to their roots. I had chicken enchiladas with rice and refried beans. My business partners had Menudo. Everything was great. Will definitely go again.

Green corn tamale is outstanding. No surprises, but regular Sonoran Mexican food done really well. Might not be the place to take Gran from Iowa, unless she's a fan of hot Thai food. Perfect for your cousins from Jersey who want an authentic experience. No doubt the wait staff could guide gringos. I like hot food and for me it... More

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Phoenix. I love the salsa and have enjoyed everything I have tried on the menu. I am one of those people who love heat, but I find the food to not be too hot as others have commented. I have brought my parents and other relatives here, who do not... More

Fun little authentic Mexican restaurant. The chimichanga was outstanding, and very large. I could only eat half. The salsa was too spicy for us gringos!

I am from Louisiana and am in Phoenix to visit my daughter. Despite trying assiduously, I have been unable to find a decent chili relleno in Baton Rouge. So at the top of my to-do list when in Phoenix is to find not only a good one, but a very good one. Our lunch at Rosita's Place was the first... More

Parking behind the restaurant makes it hard to tell how popular this place is, but deservedly so! Busy spot for lunch - we had delicious chorizo/egg chimichanga & chicken burrito. Chimi was spicy but not overly hot and the egg kept it together without falling apart. Chicken burrito was literally just like a half a pound of slightly seasoned chicken...no... More

Decided to try this place after reading an article about it being a local favorite. It's a small, quaint place but we couldn't eat the overly spicy/hot salsas served with the chips. The food was extra spicy as well. The food was just "ok" - no different than any other Mexican restaurant in any small strip mall. The service was... More

This place is as good as it gets! Huge menu with both authentic Mexican and American Mexican. We were there when they were very crowded but got a table and served very quick. Margarita's were very tasty and all the food was fantastic. Did I mention how good the chips and salsa was? And the décor was interesting also.

Come here. Downtown Phoenix and as authentic as it gets. This is a staple for our family and anytime we entertain out of town guests. If you don't like it then you don't like real Sonoran Mexican food. Go to Taco Bell instead.
