We happened upon Richardson's when another restaurant in the area decided to close it's kitchen for a bit and sent us down the road. Wow was I glad that happened. Richardson's is spot-on when it comes to southwestern fare. Plus the place is perfect. Everything from food to service was just perfect and the price was right. I would go... More

Richardson's food was unreal. For appetizers we had quesadillas, pork belly, spinach dip, crab stuffed mushrooms and more. I had the surf and turf, and here is where it gets really good. Surf and Turf was a filet mignon with 2 huge shrimp wrapped in bacon, on top of that it came with 3 enchiladas that were amazing. For sides... More

I had visited Richardson's several years ago and was unimpressed with the food. A second visit a short while ago changed my mind. The dishes were quite creative and tasty. The shrimp as a main course as well as the Sea bass were excellent. We shared the flan dessert which was quite rich. It was enjoyed by everyone. Server was... More

Great Southwestern Food and Very Cozy Atmosphere. The booths are big, comfortable and private. I really enjoyed my chili relleno. We also had the Roasted Garlic Plate, which was great with huge cloves of garlic. I had an excellent Margarita too! The food was quite spicy but very tasty. My meal was so big, I had enough leftovers for a... More

Richardson's is my favorite restaurant in Phoenix and I lived there for seven years (in Phoenix, not at Richardson;s :)). They have an excellent chef and specialize in southwest cuisine. I cannot rave enough. If the weather permits, sit outside. If not, enjoy the fireplace. I recommend reservations. Have a prickly pear marguerita while you wait! Ummm...

Went to Richardson's on vacation with some friends and our kids (ages 7-15) after having not been there since we lived in the Phoenix area 9 years ago. It started out not so great and got worse from there. We were a group of 9 and they sat us outside at their big table. The problem was that it was... More

We live in Southern Calif. so have access to many Mexican restaurants, but Richardsons beat all the ones we know hands down! Just excellent...service friendly and efficient...but the food...blue corn tortillas...amazing guac and chips...enchiladas perfection...very good chicken and verde sauce...just really really good...makes one really really want to return.

The best in New Mexican food by far. The red chili anything is great and the atmosphere is unique. Love the copper bar top!
