Came here for restaurant week not realizing it was in the lobby of the Sheraton Grand downtown. I had beef short rib and my wife had salmon with shrimp risotto. Both were artfully presented and were quite good. If you're downtown, it's definitely worth a visit.

My daughter had been wanting to go here for Mother's Day & when I called about a reservation, the young lady on the phone (Ida, I think) never hesitated when I requested a reservation for 10. The actual brunch was amazing: beautiful decorations, to include those made by the Pastry Chef (looked real!), the selection of food was great &... More

This was our 3rd year at the District's Mother's Day Brunch event. Once again, it did NOT disappoint! From the outstanding food and displays to the awesome chocolate creations on the dessert bar, the wonderful staff, including Gary (the Snail), who was warm, attentive, friendly and funny, and the entire atmosphere is just excellent! Thanks to my niece, Sara, who... More

The food was pretty good, waiter was excellent. Had a problem with our reservation that was kind of a pain, but Gary (our waiter) definitely made up for it. Loved the macaroni bar!

Downtown Phoenix near the convention center. Good location. Very nice ambiance. Food choices were outstanding, we had short ribs, and the scallops and they were great. Very good selection of wines by the glass or bottle. Only disappointment was the dessert list. But then again after bread, salad and great entree did I really need dessert. Blue cotton candy with... You really cannot beat District American for a lunch destination in downtown Phoenix! Max price for a lunch entree during 11a-3p is only $9, a real bargain, and their lunch menu is impressive. My wife and I ordered their Cedar Roasted Pacific Salmon. The salmon was cooked to perfection, sits atop a nice helping of sweet shrimp and asparagus tip... More

I went with a group of ten to the District Restaurant at the Sheraton Hotel in Phoenix prior going to the theater. Because it was a big hotel, we expected a lot better, both in service and the quality. Almost everyone had one complaint or another. The food was bland and the service slow. We gave ourselves a couple of... More

Had a couple of meals (and drinks) here. Good food, not terribly expensive, given that you are a captive audience. Excellent service.

This has become our yearly tradition and yet this restaurant never fail to impress us. The food was absolutely wonderful, and beautifully presented. Staff members always remember us specially the young latino manager Glenn. Thank you District, and see you again next year!

Had lunch a couple of times while attending a 3-day conference at the Sheraton. Except for the Ceasar Salad with a miniscule amount of grilled chicken, everything was quite tasty. The chicken sandwich was delicious. The same menu is served at the pool bar which is a great location when it's not too hot.
