The first time my wife and I went to Different Pointe of View, we were not at all impressed by the service, and the food was good, but not excellent. In other words, not a decent value. About a year later, we were back, this...More

The service here is top notch, attentive without being overbearing. I mentioned in my Open Table reservation that it was an anniversary celebration. They greeted us right away and wished us a happy anniversary (and continually did so throughout the evening). Our waiter even took...More

We have dined here several times but this time we got stomach aches and were very disappointed with the food quality and taste. The ahi appetizer was great EXCEPT for the gallon of horseradish (I think) they used, the bass was horrible tasting and the...More

My boyfriend and I love the lobster bisque appetizer. It is truly a very deliciousness and addicting dish.

Lovely spot and good food. But for us, this was not worth the 45 minute drive from Camelback area. We had done other drives through nearby mountains, so though the view from this restaurant was lovely, it wasn't significantly different from other sights we had...More

Awesome service, food, and atmosphere! Went last night for our Anniversary! The server was helpful with the wines and description of the food. My husband had the chef special salmon and I had the filet both melted in our mouths! The view is simply awesome...More

Even if the food was bad, which it was not! The view is amazing. We got a great rate at the hotel and stayed on property. We drank lots of vino and the proteins and pasta were excellent! Thanks for a romantic night.

The food was not as good as expected...steak was not cooked as requested and the lobster bisque was lukewarm...however, flavours were present & the view was spectacular. The service was extremely disappointing and this restaurant did not live up to the hype.

Dressy casual. I saw people wearing jeans. There is truly no dress codes in Phoenix except for flip flops & tank tops.

Description
Poised 1,800 feet above the Valley of the Sun, Different Pointe of View offers guests breathtaking views second only to the outstanding regional American cuisine that features fresh local and organic ingredients. The restaurant's mountaintop location and floor to ceiling windows provide stunning views of the desert landscape, the city's twinkling lights in the distance and Arizona's brilliant sunsets. No restaurant in the state has a longer streak of consecutive AAA four-diamond awards and Sunset Magazine named it one of the top 10 mountaintop restaurants in the nation. Valley residents have come for years to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, romantic evenings or just treat themselves to one of the most unique Arizona experiences. The Terrace Room Lounge, next to the restaurant, features one of the largest patios and a nine foot fire pit on the cliff side
