The view can't be beat (even with the stupid tall building to the side). We watched the cruise ships and other vessels move around and the clouds and sky change. Really magic (sit by the window). The staff are lovely and accommodating. Cocktail was ... unusual. But the food looks and smells pretty ordinary. I think they are pandering to Americans off cruiseships - huge portions and just very fried. But again, the view was great and the staff lovely.

Excellent place! We loved the atmosphere and the food. Tried different seafood: fried and not fried, ceviche. Then ordered some apple or pear pie with ice cream. Plus bottle of excellent Chardonnay from Argentina. Everything was really tasty and not expensive. Another thing to mention that most of the restaurants in Ushuaia are closed after lunch until evening, this place is open which is very helpful for tourists.

An upstairs restaurant with a view of the port. The pirate tavern atmosphere is very well done. We ate a very good assortment of fish there with shrimp fritters, fried white fish and a kind of mussel and squid ceviche. Local berry ice cream for dessert. The dishes are very generous and the prices very reasonable. A good, very friendly address.

This nautical-themed restaurant with a good view is on the third floor of the museum. I liked the atmosphere and the large menu had lots of options. It was late (around 21:00), but there was still a wait for a table. The staff were friendly, but the service was slow. They may be experiencing the staffing issues everywhere else is, but the service was so slow it made the meal less enjoyable.

We went to Viejo Lobo on a recommendation and were disappointed, I don't recommend it! We made a mistake when choosing the snack, due to their culture and language, and when it arrived we were immediately surprised and asked the waiter to have it canceled so we could place another order. He went to see the manager and continued serving other tables while we waited. Until we saw that we were making a fool of ourselves (10 minutes of waiting and nothing), so we decided to go straight to the counter and talk to the person in charge. There were two super rude people who said that if we ordered wrong, we would have to pay, that there was no way to cancel and they would be left with the loss. As I saw that they seemed savage when arguing with the customer, I tried to make them aware of the bad impression that would be left from the experience with the customer and I proposed that they only charge half, so that they would not suffer from the cost of raw materials at least. Nothing done. Either we paid, or we paid. Totally rude, inflexible, horrible! We went to other restaurants, including our hotel and did the test of asking... "if the dish arrives and we don't want it for some reason, can we cancel and order another one?" everyone responded "yes, if you haven't touched the food, you can cancel." We did this, because in Brazil it is common to get confused or regret it, and from our research, in Ushuaia too, only in VIEJO LOBO NOT! Bad experience, I don't recommend it!

Of course, the staff is very courteous and attentive and this is worth a lot, at least for me it's worth the tip, but the cuisine, for someone who prefers clear flavours, is a bit heavy, with flavor-killing sauces and some bland dishes. The fried calamari and prawns are excellent. The furniture may perhaps please you, reconnecting with prints, mannequins and objects to the time of the Ushuaia prison, but even this is a bit excessive. Oh well, we are at the end of the world and it fits. Children (so far though I haven't seen one) will find the place terrific

The place is very well decorated and has a beautiful view. The dinner menu is brief, and the food is not of great quality. Basic... We ordered lamb casserole and trout with Roquefort, after a while they told us that there was no lamb, we changed for minced meat and when the trout arrived the Roquefort was conspicuous by its absence. They forgot to tell me that there was no more... Price quality according

This restaurant is located on the second floor of the museum, with a fantastic view of the Beagle Channel. I suspect their tagline of "southernmost tavern in the world" is more self-appointed than factual but it's a great place to pop in for a beer and a snack if you can snag one of the tables by the window facing the water. We shared the seafood platter, and it was subpar for the price, but the view made up for it.

We had decided to eat fish and seafood and that was what we ordered in a noisy atmosphere. A plate of various and varied fried foods arrived. Also accompanied by fries! In short, no crush despite the kindness of the servers who do their best not to keep you waiting too long.

It was very cold inside, people were eating in down jackets. They speak no English at all. There were 8 of us and with one exception (mussels) no one was happy with his meal. Tasteless onion soup, other meals without any idea, there was nothing really wrong with them, just average. Given the temperature inside I am giving it below average score overall.

Quaint decor, which I don't really like, but ok, the idea is to be themed. Noisy, crowded, few staff but with a little patience the service works. We ordered the “Picada del Mar”, a seafood and fish platter, some perfectly breaded, the other in a very tasty vinaigrette sauce. Good price. The beer was good too.

Mandatory stop Restaurant with a themed proposal. Very tasty food and well served. Friendly service. My choice was the trout, delicious. It was juicy and I was able to swap the salad for vegetables which were also very tasty. The desserts are fantastic, it's difficult to choose which one to eat. It is one of the few that serves lunch and dinner without a break. It has a view of the canal. Really nice restaurant.

Of all the places I went to eat, this one stands out for the quality, freshness and abundance of the dish. The seafood bite as a starter and then the grilled haddock with toasted rice was the best!!! Super recommended. Tasty food, good service and price... like everything in Ushuaia!!

Excellent food and atmosphere, it is worth going early and sitting in front of the beagle. We ordered lamb and seafood casseroles which were incredible. The dessert was a pear crumble that we didn't like very much. Excellent attention.

It is not a place to go to eat seafood as it seems, it did not seem like the best plan to go as a couple to eat a local dish but that was what I expected. I think I would have liked it more if I went for a snack. The view at night is not worth it. And from what I ate it seemed very expensive. I curse having read the opinions here!! I know that next time I won't have to take other people's experiences into account so much. You go to a place for a short time and try to make the most of the dining choices. Especially when going out to eat is expensive. Tip: look at the menu before you go to see if it has to do with what you are looking for... I tried to see it but I couldn't find it!!
