This is one of those meals/experiences you will ALWAYS remember. Finding the location is part of the experience -- you truly feel like you're at a chef's house because you are. Ariel, the head chef, makes you feel right at home. He emailed with us months before the reservation and had everything ready for us when we arrived. He has a wood fire roaring and it was so cozy. My husband is sin-tacc / gluten free and Ariel went out of his way to make specific dishes just for him. We had a 4 course meal that STILL makes our mouth water. Not to mention, the wine was delicious. We recommend this to anyone going to Ushuaia! It's a MUST. Bravo!

We went to celebrate an important occasion with my partner, Ariel welcomed us very warmly in her house, which is adapted to have an immersive and private experience. During the evening Ariel did not explain the dishes she prepared and where she got the inspiration for them. The menu is step-by-step inspired by highlighting local flavors. I fell in love with everything in here, including the chef Ariel which is so charming and nice that is hard not to love him. If you’re into eating whatever the chef is preparing and you don’t rush, ask him just that and just enjoy the culinary trip! He will make smaller portions so you can enjoy more. Oh boy! If you are looking for something truly out of the ordinary, then Rincon Gourmet is mandatory! Ariel, the owner, built a little hut, where he serves his guests with top-notch meals. He is a trained chef who learned some of his craft around the world, including France. He cooks and serves his guests himself, hence there are only few tables. There is no menu, because he choses his dishes on what fresh ingredients he finds, so you can typically chose between a few starters, mains and deserts.
