This historical building used to be a hotel in the past and now remains some aspects of the former time. The specialty is the home made pasta and it delivers what promises. The portion is well served. Menu for kids as well. It is really a good option for a nice meal for lunch or dinner.

The staff, the ambience, the food... This was a great restaurant. Try the pumpkin soup and the "Trunch grilled", don't forget the puré de papas. There is a really interesting and large wine selection. I would recommend one of the Malbeck from Mendoza. The mousse of chocolate could have been better though. Great experience in any case !

For a small town Dona Quela is a good restaurant. The interior feels like the hands of time have been turned back 70+ years. It's very well done, and has a great vibe. I'd give the atmosphere & decor 5-stars. The service was good, but not over-the-top amazing (4-stars). I ordered the caprese salad & ojo de bife. The tomatoes... More

I visited Dona Quela for dinner. My waiter was very helpful with suggestions and steered me towards the venison ravioli with the mushroom cream sauce. The dish was excellent! The restaurant is nicely appointed in the first floor of an old hotel. I would definitely go back.

The place had a very nice ambiance, it was the oldest hotel in town more than 100 years ago and still maintain the feeling of old times. I got the trout and was great just grilled.

The restaurant is in an old traditional patagonian house. They have a very elegant dinner, with a nice internal garden. The food is excelent. We had a chorizo beaf and cesar salad. Very well served and presented. They have a very good wine selection, with good prices. It is cen traly located, near the main square. A must go in... More

This week we went to dinner at Doña Quela, I had been some time back and I was very nicely surprised. The service was excellent and food delicious. The setting is specially lovely as they have kept the old restaurant and style. It is one of the oldest buildings and restaurants in San Martín de los Andes dating back to... More

We found the food excellent and the service good - despite the fact that we were in a large group. There was a reasonable choice of dishes for vegetarians. Quite pricey but good value and a nice atmosphere.

My wife and I ate here based on TripAdvisor's recommendation. We thought the service and food didn't match our expectations. It was overpriced and disappointing. Just another tourist rip off, was our conclusion.

Nice, great atmosphere, excellent service and the food is to die for. A must if in town. The menu is based on local traditional dishes, mostly meat, but a great choice of fish too. The place is rather small, so reservations are in hand. Don't think twice whther to go or not if in San Martín.
