SUPERB food, with cozy ambience, and great service!!!

One of the best places we ate during our trip to South America. Beautiful ambience and incredible food. The Pacú, a local river fish was wonderful. The ambience was very cozy and romantic. HIGHLY recommended! Note, as Norteamericanos in Argentina we were usually the "early birds" eating. When we got there at 8:30pm there was only one other table occupied but by 9pm there were quite a few people there so it had a vibrant atmosphere, while still quiet and romantic.

Rutini Chardonnay!

Lots of freebies nibbles! Their bread serve was warm and dips so tasty! Wine selection is excellent! We'd Rutini Chardonnay - SOoooo good! Main course was too much, we ordered 1 main to share on the 2nd day. They were so kind to spilt up nicely for us. They also serve free Empanadas and nice small dessert to end our meal. Food was good and servers were attentive. We really enjoyed this resto and would love to be back again.

A must go in Salta

Service was fantastic, helpfull and cordial, food was great and on point. Menu had several options wich give you a great variety according to your preferences. Ambience was great having at the same time business meetings, family dinners and our couples night as well. Music wasnt too loud to avoid conversation unpleasantness. And the art on the walls was properly lighted. When food comes, dishes were properly executed and nicely presented.

Old school service, with attentive waiters, salads and steaks large enough to share. Not too far from the central plaza. Food was well prepared and presented as expected. Decent wine selection. Would go there again.

Diverse menu with excellent service

Elected to eat here, concluding a 2 week holiday around Brazil and Argentina. Google and TripAdvisor reviews were very positive and we weren't disappointed at all! The restaurant is located in a hotel off the main street. The service was fantastic, with a great wine selection & diverse menu. We had a phenomenal time and really enjoyed celebrating our last night at Don Salvador! Thank you to the staff for an outstanding last experience!

A varied menu, excellent food and great service! We had langostinos and paquetito de zanahoria as appetizers, entrees: bondiola and quinoa salad, peras al Malbec for dessert.

Excellent service - very professional team running restaurant. Food not stellar but above average, certainly in Salta. Some interesting choices on the menu. Comfortable. I would go back.

Very good food and cosy environment

Definitely gourmet food. Inexpensive and very good. I went for dinner 3 nights in a row. From pork to beef to fish. Didn’t disappoint at all

One of the best experiences!

The restaurant is amazing and the service we received (led by Christian) was spectacular! The food had incredible taste, style and creativity. We had crepes, salmon lasagna, Mediterranean fish plate, and as desert hechizo andaluz, omg! Prices are very good value ! We will be back! Thanks Cristian and team!

Vegan dish made special

This is a nice, fancy, hotel-based restaurant. They did not have vegan options on the menu but the chef created a mix of sautéed vegetables that was both delicious and beautifully presented.

Excellent food, more upscale

This restaurant was a great choice for a more upscale night for us in Salta (compared to the other streetside cafes we also visited). Our waiter, Adrian, was very attentive and the presentation of the food was beautiful. Great meal!

Not the number 1!

The first night we arrived in Salta and because of Tripadvisor's number 1 position we reserved and went inmediately to this restaurant. I just cannot understand how a restaurant at this location, with this weird waiter (who asked to rate in tripadvisor) and lousy environment is at the first place. The trout we ordered was still raw! Nice presentation of the food though. I hope that my fellow critics be honest, so that this restaurant is soon at the place it deserves to be!

Excellent value for money. Tasty food.

Excellent value for money. Good food - the chicken was a large breast with a tasty sauce. The lomo was well cooked and generous sides. Salads were very tasty - and generous portions. Limited menu but we ate here 3 nights as staying at hotel. Opens at 20.30 but didn’t start to fill up until 21.30. Waiters very friendly and smiley. Not over attentive - just right. Bread provided was ample and fresh. Would definitely recommend. Mix of outsiders and people staying at hotel.
