This score is for the history of the building, the environment and location and views across the park and inner courtyard. We eat lunch on the balcony at the front on the first floor overlooking the park and enjoyed a jug of lemonade with mint that i ‘discovered’ yesterday. The service was excellent snd our waiter proudly introduced himself in English. Otherwise it would have been 3 stars as the tamales and humita was awful and the empanadas very small!

We arrived early for lunch and were shown to an upstairs outdoor table overlooking the square, a very good start. The menuns were brought very quickly as were the drinks we ordered. Service was very good throughout. Our chosen food was very acceptable without being in any way special. The prices are on the high side but the location is good.

The restaurant has some environments, and they're all too beautiful On the ground floor there is a lounge that has a visit to part of the kitchen, where there is pizza oven. There is also outdoor environment, and an upper floor. On the floor below they have an executive menu, which is a dish of the gentlemen that has drink and dessert included, with fair price. Additional menu dishes, reasonable price. There are several options of typical dishes of the region on the menu, and even an option that has several options of typical dishes, serving 2 or 4 people. Good service, only a few time-consuming. The executive menu dish came with incorrect accompaniment. And the bread at the entrance was still raw, although it is homemade, it is one of the very spicy sauces.

Restaurant located in the central square of Salta on the first floor of a beautiful colonial-style building offering a very pleasant room. We were able to choose our table overlooking the square. The cuisine was of very good quality, the menu offering local offerings. The wine offered by the house was a very nice discovery at a very affordable price and the service was very attentive and smiling… we had a great time and enjoyed ourselves!

Excellent place for dinner. As in almost all Argentine restaurants, food is served in abundance. As it was a public holiday in Argentina, we decided to order a board with the main regional foods (empanadas, locro, humita, etc.). Everything was very good. The service was impeccable, we even got a dessert on the house, as we had already eaten so much, we could barely eat the dessert. It's very worth knowing. On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays there is a dance performance from the region. We spent around 45 thousand pesos, which today would be a little more than 200 reais. We ordered the dish as pictured, a bottle of wine and water.

We went to eat at this place after receiving several positive recommendations, but we didn't like it. The atmosphere was very nice, we ordered a plate of regional food, everything was horrible…. It was slightly seasoned, the corn was clearly canned, the vegetable was undercooked, if not raw. The service is rushed and unprofessional… Plus the excessive prices… I won't return nor do I recommend it!

We arrived a little before they opened and were able to snag a balcony table while we enjoyed a bottle of wine. Once food service opened, we enjoyed delicious empanadas and flan. The waiters were very friendly and even offered to take picture of us. The food and the people watching were both great!

Went based on trip advisor reviews. There’s a guy with a sign on the plaza pulling people in. Sign of touristy crap. But we continued. Sat easily as we arrived argentine early (a little after 8). Ordered water, a beer for my husband and a gin and tonic for me. Water and beer arrived. Ordered empanadas and gnocchi/gnudi. Empanadas arrived. We inquired about gin and tonic. He said the bar man just arrived. My husband finished his beer so we each ordered a glass of wine. Wine came and nearly finished. Then…. Finally after 55 minutes for gin and tonic to arrive. After this we inquired about the gnocchi and our server responded he forgot. He then put the order in and it came out - cold. The empanadas were I’m good but the rest of the experience was frustrating and lack luster. Avoid any restaurant with a guy trying to entice you on the plaza, but specifically I would avoid here.

We had our table on the balcony for dinner. We had a lovely bottle of Malbec, overlooking the square. We ordered the lomo with Malbec reduction, which was large and well cooked. Our other dish was the spaghetti bolognese which was plenty and served with grated cheese and a pepermill on the side. Service was friendly

We go often because we like regional cuisine and even more what they prepare there at Adobe, in addition to the good service of our favorite waiter Narciso, a very helpful and attentive person! We don't miss adobe every time we bring friends from other provinces and countries so they can taste the good flavors of Salta. Simply thanks!

We ate super delicious. We ordered a variety of empanadas (meat, llama, cheese, chasqui, chicken and quinoa), personally I liked some more than others. The tamale and humita were also very good. The place is very well decorated with a view of the square. The waiter's attention was very good, as soon as a table on the balcony was free he offered it to us and changed us. Prices according to the place and the food. It's not that cheap but they are not that expensive. I would return

We went the night before my birthday and had dinner. The ugly bondiola was horrible and it's difficult to make it ugly 🥹. The empty menu of wines and dishes they offer. Don't be fooled Even the tamale is horrible! Maybe we got a bad waiter because at Oliva's request he brought us ugly corn and another waiter gave us a delicious Oliva 🤷🏼‍♀️ what to say, it seems to me that he is deceiving tourists! When paying they asked us to leave a positive review to be #1 PATHETIC!

Located in the center of the city, we find this restaurant that makes typical Salta cuisine. It is a place where local people eat. Therefore, they cook without complications, they do what their audience likes and they do it well. It is here where we tried their famous Saltenca empanadas. Like many other restaurants in this country, they serve disproportionate portions. They finish the meal with an extremely sweet dessert, putting dulce de leche practically everywhere. Impeccable and very diligent service. A good place to taste local cuisine.

We went after reading positive comments from tourists. The place has high prices for the quality of food it offers: little variety and bland dishes. We ordered a bondiola that was boiled, without taste and without seasonings. The sweet humita turned out to be dry, cooked with creamy canned corn, without cheese or squash. The only things passable were the sorrentinos dish with 4 cheese sauce and the meat and llama empanadas. There was no salt on the table, excessive lighting and the waiter (Nicolás) served us apparently in a hurry and without empathizing. To top it off, I wanted to pay with Mercadopago QR code and they told me that they only worked with cards. When I explained to him that we had paid by that means everywhere, he rudely expressed that the establishment was not obliged (although it should inform its customers in advance, something they never did). Luckily I had cash, and I was able to pay. Conclusion: the place is pure marketing, it is not recommended at all!!!

A local guide recommended this place as the best place to eat empanadas and try local food from the region of Salta. He was damn right! The food is great, the atmosphere is very cosy, with design elements inspired by local culture (but also very graceful, subtle, not cliche). The people were very welcoming, all smiles and courteous.
