After some questionable restaurant choices in Salta, Aires Caseros was a breath of fresh air. While it takes quite a while to get served, the waiter had great hospitality when he finally take the order. Empanadas were amazing, and their home made orange juice. Main dish of their homemade stuffed pasta was incredible. Definitely recommend if willing to dish out a bit for quality food.

The restaurant has a nice, relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. It’s great location, on a corner of the main plaza, makes it a perfect place to stop after a long day of walking and the two for one mohitos were great. We chose the restaurant because it was within walking distance of our hotel but also because they were open all day. Many, many restaurants don’t open before 8:00. Carla seated us and really helped us translate the more regional aspects of the menu. She was attentive throughout our meal, making sure we had everything we needed. I tried the vegetarian aglinotis with a regional sauce, iruya. It was delicious and I appreciated that the serving size was not huge. My husband enjoyed his Caesar Salad and was also happy with the serving size. Overall it was a great experience.

We had read the reviews and thought this looked inviting....plenty of other people eating already at around 8.30pm. I wanted something light after so much meat in recent days so opted for the grilled veggies...just a half portion on the waiter’s recommendation. It turned out to be plenty and came with some good dips. My other half had llama meatballs In Malbec sauce, with chips...also very filling and tasty. We had a huge bottle of beer and two soft drinks. There was a basket of fresh rolls with bean and veg relish as a cover. The bill came to under 1500 pesos for the two of us. Angel, our waiter, was very pleasant and helpful.

For starters we had empanadas de carne (truly fabulous!) and a tamal, a new experience for us.
For main dishes we ordered humita en cuenco de zapallo horneado, which we both thought was spectacular. We also had a parrillada de vegetales for one which was delicious and more than what two could eat.
As we left we were gifted 2 alfajores. We are both very fond of alfajores and these were superb.
The entire experience was made perfect by Angel, son of Delia, our server who was a perfect combination of warmth and professionalism.

We stopped spontaneously in the restaurant for a small meal, because it looked inviting to us. We were delighted and felt very welcomed by the fast and absolutely friendly waiter Charly, something which is, unfortunately, not the case in all the restaurants here in Argentina. The food was good, although we just had a small meal of a salad and some fries.
If we happen to travel through salta again, we definitely will be visiting this restaurant again.

Came here for a quick cocktail as I was celebrating my birthday and it did not disappoint. Mojitos themselves were amazing so refreshing and the attentiveness of our waiter, Jefferson, was extraordinary. Just mentioned it was my birthday and few minutes later a delicious fruit cake appeared, on the house! Would highly recommend for food or drinks!

The evening started with dirty cutlery. Then I order a dish with mushroom sauce and it came with malbec sauce, that ruined my pairing because I ordered a white wine. The service is really good, because of it I rate 3 stars, otherwise I would rate this place with 1 star. I won't repeat this place.

This is located right by the Hotel Salta and was very busy with locals while we were there. Always a great sign. The server was a bit overwhelmed as he was largely on his own, but he was friendly and the quality of the food made it worth the wait. The Milanese dishes are delicious

The food was fantastic (pumpkin cannelloni, milanesa) and came very quickly after ordering. You can either sit outdoors on the sidewalk or inside. Our waiter was simply amazing: energetic, honest, fast, friendly. Overall, a great dining experience.

Delicious and reasonably priced homemade food. We tried two of the pastas, and they were very good. The portions were quite large; we could have shared an appetizer and entree. We loved the cannelloni stuffed with butternut squash, covered with cheese and tomato sauce. Be aware that they do have a small "cubierto" charge which covers fresh bread with a smoked eggplant dip. We want to go back and try other things.

We chose this restaurant because of all the great reviews and we really enjoyed it. We ordered humitas, tomales and empanadas with a bottle of Malbec. Everything was really good. Claudio was our waiter and he was very helpful in explaining how to open up the tomales to eat it. He also brought us a local desert to try at the end which was really nice if you love Jaffa cakes. :)

We fully intended to have lunch here as it looks quite inviting. We went into the restaurant and were ignored by a number of staff members standing around doing nothing. We then decided that we would sit at an outside table and wait and see if the idle staff condescended to offer any semblance of a greeting or service. They did not so we left.

An informal place, no linen table cloth here. Prompt service. We had a pork roast dish with potatoes, corn and squash for two. Meat was pretty good, but not great, vegetables were over cooked. If you go with average expections you won’t be disappointed by average food. I would look for other places rather than return.

A pleasant culinary surprise. So many tasty items to choose from. My wife and I gorged ourselves on veggie items and meat dishes, which we washed down with sangria. Pleasant atmosphere. Reviewed by Miles Archer of Boca Raton, Florida.

A totally overrated place. Very poor service and food below average. Empenada was hot, but filling was boring. The Milanese was made in a hot pan, but it didn’t meat any oil or fat. It felt like eating plain breadcrumbs .
