We made reservations for 5:30 PM on a Tuesday evening. There were a lot of people waiting for tables but they must have wanted to sit inside. We were happy to sit outside even with the reservation. There was no problem. There were six of us and we were able to carry on conversations in a normal tone of voice.... More

So busy, in fact, that they ran out of reservations for the whole Friday night, aha. Had dinner with family at 7, couldn't be seated till near 8. The ambience and Italian atmosphere is nice, better and more quiet I'm sure with less people. For a busy day, the staff were nice and attentive. Parking is a bit odd, especially... More

We drove by this place and I had a vague recollection of a good previous visit, so we stopped for lunch. I am sorry to say, this visit was not good. The real Vito, if around, would be ashamed to eat here today. The “original bruschetta” was smothered all over with some sweet paste. Our entrees arrived at the same... More

Once again we had a fantastic meal at Vito's. This was our 8th visit in the 3 years we have been coming to Mesa. Delicious food and fast friendly, efficient service makes for a wonderful dining experience. Don't let the "pizza place" part of the restaurant's name mislead you. Vito's is much more than just a pizza place. Tonight my... More

Have been there 3 times past few weeks - most recently on Saturday - place was packed by 6:00 pm - obvious sign of popularity and good food. Good service and nice atmoshere. The thin crust "Deluxe" pizza is loaded with toppings and as good as I've had anywhere. Intend to return for dinner last evening of this trip.

The place was not busy when we arrived. So they brought us to the back to sit. We asked for a booth. The server looked annoyed when we asked to have it wiped. Then it took them a while to even acknowledge us after they sat us. Though the wait was not miserably long, it was a wait both for... More

As often as we visit Vito's, it is always the same - great Italian food, excellent service, and very nice ambiance.

Vito's is a great place to take the kids on Sunday. Their meal comes with a drink and a dessert. My wife likes the gluten free pizza here and I enjoy their regular thin-crust pizza. We've also had the antipasto salad, which is very nice. The parking is a bit strange but the food is worth the tight parking inconvenience.

We were seated promptly which is always the first thing we appreciate at any establishment, especially when dining out with children. We ordered the meat pizza; the toppings were generous and tasted fine, nothing memorable. Very normal bread came to our table, cold white loaf sliced, obviously store bought. There were 2 butters that came with the bread, one was... More

I've never had a bad meal here. Service is friendly and prompt and the atmosphere is welcoming and cosy. And the food....oh, the food. The pasta is a perfect al dente every time. I've never been served a plate of overcooked mush. Be sure to try the calamari appetizer and ask for the seasoning. The seasoning isn't on the menu,... More
