We've eaten at Pete's many times and have never been disappointed! Fast friendly service and good food. Love their red fish sauce. I could drink this stuff!

I have been going to Petes since 1960. I don't live in Mesa anymore but when I visit I always go to Petes. They have the very best fish and chips. Great food at a great price. DougM

We were disappointed in this establishment. We ordered fish and shrimp w/fries no substitutes for $7.99. They don't serve ketchup or tarter sauce and are very skimpy with their own sauce. <which tasted like watered down ketchup with vinegar>. We picked up our order and I was dismayed as I was looking at a perfect square of fish on my... More

Pete's Fish and Chips has been around since I was a kid. Awesome food! There has always a little bit of a wait when I have gone (it's that good). CASH ONLY! We ordered 3 seafood combos and it came out to like $31 and some change. Fairly priced. I went on March 10th, a Lent-Friday evening, and it was... More

OMG! It is the best fish/chips place ever! We were in the valley for an appointment and had to stop for lunch. Couldn't think of a better place to have a three piece fish and fries! Just like when we were growing up in Mesa in the sixties. Love love love Petes!

Not sure why this place is so popular. To each is own? Very greasy food. ALL of it. Well sorry didn't try the burgers. Square frozen fish sticks/shrimp on a paper plate that soaks up the grease quite nicely. Weird cocktail sauce. Cash only, dine outside, drive thru or take out only. Would of gave it terrible but the soda... More

Fast, check Hot, check Fresh, not Square fish and flat shrimp all scream factory food. French fries but no ketchup, dont ask. This place is always busy but once will be enough for us.

Love this place, & affordable. Fun outdoor eating. Wish they had one in a Gilbert, AZ location. Only thin was I wanted to wash my hands before eating, no bathrooms.
