I guess when you are a restaurant owner you hope your restaurant turns out like this. The staff was friendly and spoke very well English. The place looks cozy but fashionable and the food is amazing. I didn’t choose the 7 course menu because I...More

We went to Azafran our first night in Mendoza. It's really cute inside, and the waiter spoke English, which was helpful. We ordered the grilled provolone and empanadas to start, and then we both got steak for dinner. We were told that we could go...More

Do you know the expression "good things come in small packages?" Well in this case it's one of the best. Azafran is a small restaurant (it's better do a reservation). Very well decorated and cosy place. The service is great... all if the staff very...More

I had a degustation menu. The appetizer were fantastic the main dish a lamb rack came a little warm, it could really be a little more hot. The wines are good but at a regular level. The lagostine carpatio and the Panchetta were a masterpiece.

If you walk too fast you could miss the entrance which is relatively discrete. However once inside you are in a vibrant, beautifully decorated restaurant where the wine list is a large walk-in wine cellar. Go in, browse, chat with the sommelier and then make...More

My husband and I dined at Azafran our first night in Mendoza. The staff was friendly and also spoke English, which made the experience easier. We started by sharing the humita starter. The dish was actually a delicious corn stew, which was a creative spin...More

Very. For us. The only thing was a little confusion about the reservation, which took a strangely long time to resolve (while we were told not to worry, everything was ok, they just needed to figure something out). Once we... More
