Stopped off at Tres Bocas Isle and had lunch here. Lovely as your looking right at the river however your immediately opposite a fuel station for the boats so get fumes every now and again. Was really looking forward to some barbecue and ordered the beef ribs unfortunately they were very chewy. The public river taxis to get back are... More

El Hornero is a small al fresco restaurant in the Tres Bocas area of the Parana Delta. To get there you have to take the Intraiseleño boat and get off at the Santa Rosa dock, about 30 minutes travel from the centre of Tigre. The restaurant is open air and has the typical Argentine parrilla of grilled meats, plus salads,... More

Terrible service and really overcooked beef and cohosh. We waited an hour for really bad food. Very disappointing. Don't wait, go somewhere else.

We were four hungry visitors and we ordered what we thought would be just enough food. Well, 4 starters and mains, lots of shots of tequila and a bottle of wine later, we rolled out of there stuffed and happy. All for $80 US total for the four of us. A real neighborhood place. No frills. Great food.

So happened upon this place after taking the ferry up to Tres Bocas from Tigre (A trip absolutely worth doing) - and it was a perfect spot for a lunch beside the river. Terrific patio space and good food - the beer was cold, the steak perfectly done and tasty, fries quite good, prices fair, service just fine - exactly... More

They do have a captive audience which obviously works in their favour, but I would recommend you eat either in El Tigre itself, or back in the city in the evening. My partner's ham & cheese omelette was fine - overly filled but tasty. My pasta was freezing cold in the middle so I sent it back. The same dish... More

It's ok, when you're hot and thirsty you are a captive so pay the prices. They weren't overly friendly when we asked to move 2 tables together out of the sun as there were 5 of us around a tiny table. Nice setting though.

The food was not very good unfortunately(at least what we ordered), but the place was so cute and romantic, we absolutely loved it. Im giving it four starts for the ambiance, staff and location. Las Tres Bocas is incredible. Its almost like you are in some jungle story book! We met the local dogs there too(Pepe was my fav!), who... More

We came to this restaurant based on the recommendation of someone in the tourism office by the boat ticket sales place and the other Trip Advisor reviews. They did not have most of the cuts of meat mentioned in those reviews however, and what we got was only adequate. We followed our server's recommendations. The pork (without a bone) was... More

We visited Tigre by train. From the train station, we made my way to the boats (water bus) and went to Tres Bocas. After getting off the boat, take the path next to the restaurant that is out of business and building that are partially completed. After the bridge, go right on the path to go to the restaurant. We... More
