Been here the first time in 2003 and returned many times since. Although I cherish and reminisce about their first setting, which was literally a hole in the wall, little has changed in terms of food excellence. Question why they are No. 3.
This family run restaurant has consistently maintained a high standard of fresh, gourmet food. Reservations are a must, and the atmosphere and service is warm and genial.

Wow what a hard place to eat at! Door is always locked, forcing you to knock and the waitlist is eternal. You have to call ahead--days ahead. Carilo is a very special place and the A Mano restaurant makes it special for dining too. Althoght the restaurant has good meets! It was the fish that caught our attention. We were a group of six and had made lunch reservations ahead of time, not necessary at this time of the day but good in the evening. My Salmom Rosado A La Parrilla was good, the Gambas Al Ajillo were wonderful as was the Abadejo fish.... More
