We received a recommendation from an acquaintance to go to Chiquilin for a good meal at local BA restaurant. We sat at a table by the window and had a fantastic Steak dinner. Our server Christina was very attentive. Food was prepared as requested and delicious. Would highly recommend, food, wine, service - tourist or local you will enjoy.

The food is pretty good here. The service was good until the waiter asked if we were from England. From that moment on we were not spoken too or asked if we wanted more drinks or a dessert. Very disappointing and not a true reflection of the wonderful hospitality we received elsewhere in BA.

We ate here based on the recommendation of the front desk at our hotel. We had the mixed grill that we shared with frites and an appetizer of sweetbreads. The beef and pork were very tasty and tender. The waitstaff was attentive and even asked us if we wanted them to heat our food up since we were sitting below... More

We had a very good meal here, recommended by the hotel. Very simple steak and frites but delicious. It was very quiet when we visited so didn't have to book.

We went to this place because of the reviews and location, very close to our hotel. From the beginning the waiter was kinda rude. Many times he didn't reply when we made the order and sometimes left without saying anything so we didn't know if he didn't hear what we said, if he was ignoring us or what was happening.... More

Steak restaurant located in Centro. Ribeye steak was good but the skirt steak was not. Vegetable medley ok. Bread was stale on second visit. Empanadas was tasty. They are open most hours - unusual for BA where many spots don't open till 9. Service was good.

Chiquilin because is a well rated medium priced Italian restaurant that was less than a block from our hotel. Our salad of baby arugula was the freshest and tastiest I've eaten just about anywhere. The other salad was also fresh, but pretty basic. My ravioli with cheese was very tasty and there was a lot of it. Elena had 'cuerdas de... More

We had the Caprese Salad and then Pasta with a lovely shrimp and cream sauce. Rutini Malbec was fantastic to accompany the meal. Our waiter was "Tigre" who is a real character and we had a great chat with him about everything from politics to football. This was the first restaurant I visited on my first trip to Argentina in... Business traveling is hard and you don't get to experience much. Step into this place and you instantly feel the ambiance and immersion into every day Argentinian life. The food is wonderful. Everything. Meats, fried cheese, offals (yes), desserts, wines. Prices are reasonable and, if you go with some locals, the hours go by slow and sweet. They certainly know... More
