After 2 weeks in Argentina and a lot of asados, we were craving something different and that's why we went to Sudestada on our first night in Buenos Aires. There's a tight selection of dishes, which I always appreciate as it usually means that each dish will be quite special. We were a group of 8 travellers and each of... More

There are a variety of Asian cuisines represented in this restaurant's menu and our favorites were the beef in the red curry sauce, the dumplings, and the pork rib appetizer. The service was very good with our waitress being very glad to explain each of the dishes to us. Overall, we felt well taken care of and were happy to... More

Fresh, spicy and tasty is how I would describe the food here. In a sea of expensive steak restaurants this place is doing cheap good Asian food and I was really pleased with my meal. The decor is almost scandy in feel with lots of wood and white finishing. The menu is quirky with its punch a hole through the... More

Tired or steak and fries? This place offers a great change from the normal routine. The flavors were amazing, and so many fresh vegetables! Try the Nem, spring rolls that you eat like a lettuce wrap with more fresh, cool, and crispy vegetables. I also recommend the Filipino grilled chicken and vegetables. Will be back!

Very good restaurant, nice place, had a great time there. Good way to run from all that meat in Buenos Aires. Staff was a little bit sloppy, they spilled sauce over me. And it ain't cheap.

Went here a few years back and loved it. So returned with high expectations and left gutted. Food was tasteless. Best thing was the rice pudding! Might be better when you don't get the set menu lunch, which was only thing on offer when we went. Service was strained and miserable and place felt cold in every sense. Would not... More

Having lived in Houston this is a big statement. Houston has many wonderful Vietnamese restaurants. I have probably been to this establishment 10 times with family and on business. If you want to show a native Argentinian a place they may not have tried this is it. You will not be disappointed. The next time I travel to BA I... More

Came here for lunch with my friend lived in Southeastasia for a long time. The starters (salad/ soup) were good, the main courses (Curry Indian Style/ Noodles with chicken in a peanut Sauce) tasted "like cooked by someone has never been in Asia." Our critique points: too oily. Nice minimalistic modern ambiente and quick service though.

I've been coming to this place since 2002. It is the best in town Every dish is made with fresh ingredients and the staff is corteus and professional I recommend the red curry with beef. You can also try the 3 step lunch which is VERY cheap!

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
