Our first trip to Buenos Aires, cruising to Antarctica…SM was recommended by our hotel Concierge…it is a come as you are, no reservations…food was fabulous, steak so tender it pulled apart with a fork…steak and salad was plenty…the staff were great, very attentive and friendly…we...wound up going three times on our trip, twice before sailing and once after we got back…easy taxi ride to get there from the Sheridan, where we stayed.More

Went there at 7pm and place was already full. Unfortunately it was upstairs and pretty warm which was our only complaint. The place was hopping andvwhen we left the line to get in was out the door. Started dinner sharing 2 deliciius chorizos. 3 if...us then had the filet with sslad and i had the bife de chorizo all with side salad , all cooked perfectly and very good portions. Had a Kilka Malbec that was very good and reasonably priced. Our dinner was enhanced by the service of Leidhy who was delightful and very efficient. All in all a great find.More

This was one of the most surprisingly great dining experiences I have had in 56 years on the planet! I had a missed connection of flights in BA and decided to Uber into town to see if I could get dinner at this restaurant. I...arrived around 7:30 pm. I had two large suitcases and a backpack—the restaurant gladly seated me (and near the window!) I was attended to promptly, even though the staff spoke only a little English, we were able to sort through and order. I ordered the Rump Steak, done Medium, with Papas Rusticas, a beer and bottled water. I was delighted with a great plate of at least 10-oz steak prepared JUST the way I’d hoped (and not done medium-well, when I really did want medium), a HUGE plate of potatoes, and rolls. The total order came to 2600 Argentinian Pesos, and I was HAPPY to add a 10% service gratuity at their offer. I am certain I have NEVER paid $15 US for a REAL steak dinner with trimmings and drinks (no, Sizzler does not count)! By the time I was finished, there was quite a line of others hoping to get in. The service, food, and friendliness made a bad situation with travel in and out of Buenos Aires worth it. Bravo!!More

Such an incredible steak - we went for a fillet cooked jugoso (red & juicy). Perfect meal and lovely staff too.

A fantastic find in Buenos Aires. Reasonable prices, excellent steak. Quite busy, for a reason. The food and ambience were excellent. We ordered the rib-eye steak with grilled vegetables along with a 1 litre local beer and wine (a Malbec blend from the Mendoza area),...all for less than the price of a just the rib-eye steak back home in Canada. And it was done to perfection (medium rare as ordered). Definitely would recommend this to others. Unfortunately they don’t take advance reservations so you have to line up and leave your name at the desk. We waited about 20 minutes while enjoying the ambience of lively conversation in a busy restaurant.More

I live by the rule “A steak in (insert country) tastes like steak in the US.” Even though I ordered my steak “jugoso” which is medium rare for us Americanos, it still came out over cooked. The real winner of the meal was the chorizo...and morcilla and a nice bottle of wine for a decent price. What’s the word for “raw beef” in Spanish. Maybe that’s what I should have aimed for.More

Last night in Argentina we wanted to find a steak place walking distance from our hotel. We did a search and selected this restaurant based on the reviews. We ordered the rib eye and the filet with baked potatoes. Steaks came out perfectly cooked and...delicious. The prices are ridiculously cheap. Incredible value. Staff was very warm and accommodating. Highly recommend.More

First place they got the meat right, we were trying to eat medium-rare for a few days, and these guys got it! The Lomo was great! The price was extremely fair given the quality of the food

Found this place on trip adviser and walked to it. Totally not disappointed. The atmosphere was wonderful, it was quite hot in there but not intolerable. The waitress had little English and we had little Spanish. However we managed to order 2 delicious rare steaks...with chips, even salt and vinegar for the chips. I couldn’t find fault. 2 delicious rib eye steaks with beers and soft drinks inc tip for less than £30. Nicest steak I’ve ever had.More

Wow! What a find. Incredible food, very good service, and a vibrant place! I didn’t want to stray too far from my hotel, so found this place 6 blocks away. The chorizo starter was tasty and the ‘Ojo de bife’ - Rib-eye hit the nail...on the head! Great value for money!More

Fantastic! Food and service were the best. We did not have a booking and turned up on a Saturday night at 7.30pm. no problem, table for 2, menu given immediately. Beer and food order taken within 5 minutes. Service was perfect, drinks came first and...meal within 15 minutes. Meal was sensational, we ordered the house special, rib eye with egg, sides were rustic fries and sauteed vegetables. We highly recommend this venue, one of the best in the area. Gracias.More

In Google maps I found good comments however my review is not. The lady wanted me to sit in the 2nd floor, I was ok with it but then she ask me to sit right next to the waiters desk next to the stairs. I...declined and she give me " un happy face"... I was thinking to left the place but unfortunately I stayed on. I ordered chorizo and befe de chorizo , green salad and Malbec wine. The wind was fine but that it, they give you bread and butter but they forgot the plate and knife, the chorizo never came and the steak was... half fat and the rest medium when I ordered medium rear. To end this they tried to charge for the chorizo that did not came... Just to make things clear, the waiters were not there to serve and attend the customers, I could not ask any one anything.. Conclusion one of the worst experiences I had in ArgentinaMore

Had a Biffe de Chorizo, frites, agua con gas and a glass of Chardonnay. Service was wonderful, food was delicious and atmosphere was exciting! When I received the bill, the steak was very reasonably priced. Please try if you are in the area!

Great food for reasonable prices. The waitress was quick and kind. We ordered bife de chorizo and baked potato with special filling. We really loved both the meat and the potato. The prices are not high, especially in comparison with other BsAs restaurants in the...centre. The only thing that surprised us unpleasantly was the fee of 400 ARS for the table service. We didn't notice any info on that in the menu...More
