We came here just for dessert, and ordered the sabayon and tiramisu. Not good in the slightest, the sabayon had far too much Marsala and the tiramisu had no coffee taste believe it or not! Was basically a slodge of whipped cream and soggy biscuits with cheap-quality-tasting chocolate sauce. What made it worse - halfway through our meal we saw... More

Dinner with friends on a Friday night. We shared some meet (Entrana, Chorizo) salad and fries with some wine. Also some deserts afterwards that were awsome! Nice and classic restaurant with good food and service. At times feels quite touristy. Nice location in San Telmo.

A group of 10 of us had a meal at this restaurant. We all ordered steak and 1 ravioli for the vegetarian. The restaurant was easy to find. Orders were promptly taken. In addition we had chip and salad. The salad was rocket with cheese on it. A bit odd i thought. The steaks were huge 400g. It was cooked... More

I have dinner and lunch on a regular base at this restaurant. The food is good with a great variety. The bife is of good quality. Prices are in balance with the quality and setting. Its very relaxed and the staff is very friendly and profesional. Always having a good time. Really recommended.

Warning. The restaurant charges a "service" fee which is listed clearly in the menu at 20 pesos per person. It wasn't until after our (mediocre) meal, upon being handed the bill, that the server informed us that tip is not included. When we didn't add tip to our payment, due to being charged a service fee in the bill, she... More

Staying in San Telmo

Neighbourhood Profile
San Telmo
Characterized by cobblestones and narrow streets, San Telmo is defined by the tango, the dance that made Buenos Aires world-famous. Tango is a fusion of many different cultures: a true child of immigration, much like the city itself. Nowadays, it comes alive after dark in the milongas (dance parties) attended by both locals and visitors alike, who dance until the wee hours of the morning. During the day, the antique shops and classic cafés and bars around Plaza Dorrego dominate the scene. The emblematic Bar Plaza Dorrego, with its green awnings, checkered tile floors, and wooden interiors, takes you back in time the moment you step inside. For true porteño traditions, San Telmo is the place to be.
