Excellent experience. Amazing service. Superb food. It was my birthday and they were kind to give me a delicious dessert and a glass of sparkling wine to top off the amazing dinner we had just had. Skip Don Julio and come here!

The food was decent but a bit underwhelming given our high expectations heading into the dinner. However, the biggest turn-off was our bill showing up with a side dish listed as costing $16,700 ($100+ USD equiv.) vs. the $1,670 ($10) listed on the menu. Luckily,...we caught it and had the price adjusted before paying but there was no formal apology from the restaurant and it seems hard to believe that the system was to blame given all the rest of the prices were correct and this was not a new item on the menu. Would make sure to triple check your receipt before paying if you choose to visit!More

The staff is always nice and willing to help, making sure you feel spoiled. The food is great, no matter what you choose. Beware that if you go for meat (especially dry aged), after Elena’s you’ll probably not be able to enjoy it in your...usual places anymore. Last but not least, the ambiance, just completes the experience so that I always want to go again.More

We visited the Elena Restaurant whilst on our honeymoon as we wanted a special meal. Elena didn't disappoint. It was not cheap, but worth the money. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They provided food and drinks recommendations and were attentive throughout. They even...gave us a free glass of champagne to celebrate our honeymoon which was a lovely touch. The food was exceptional. My husband's steak was beautifully cooked and my pasta was exquisite. I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Buenos Aires.More

The room is very nicely appointed. The service is excellent and professional. The steak was slightly overcooked but had incredible flavor and was very tender. The fresh trout was so moist and delicious. Yes, I highly recommend the restaurant.

Went for a couple’s dinner during our vacation. We couldn’t do a reservation, so we arrived earlier. The attendant told us that there weren’t tables available because the reservations were to be completed, although guests were not present yet, but they said we could sit...at a shared big table with privacy if we wish to. They showed us the place, which was ok (a big table near to the restaurant), and we accepted. But what they didn’t tell us was that there you basically don’t have service as in the rest of the restaurant, except for the sommelier, who helped us very gently and recommended excellent wine. The waiters appeared only for us to make our orders. They didn’t come back to refill water or the wine. We had to serve ourselves, despite paying Four Season’s prices. Very disappointing. Would’ve been better not offering clients that option because it impacts the whole experience and makes you feel a dumb.More

While the lunch menu is somewhat limited in terms or choices, everything is delicious, and the service is among the finest you will experience in Buenos Aires.

This is a beautiful restaurant. And the food was amazing! I wish we would have eaten here a second time instead of our dinner at Nuestro Secreto.

This is definitely one of the restaurants that I enjoy the most in Buenos Aires, went more than 3 times. The food is amazing and well serve, it's best to reserve it in their website before going (1 or 2 days before is enough). It's...a pricy compare to other restaurants but it's totally worth itMore

This was supposed to be one of the 50 best restaurants in the world. We made a reservation to celebrate our 5th year anniversary, and it was unforgettable for the wrong reasons. This was just another expensive restaurant where you pay more than it is...worth it. The cured meat was great, the main dishes were good, but not exceptional. We ordered the chorizo, ojo de bife and the lamb. The side dishes were good, but again, nothing exceptional that could justify the price. After the main dishes were sent to the table, it seemed that our table was invisible, the waiter did not come to the table to check up on us, did not take the plates away even 10 minutes after we were finished. We had to waive and call the waiter and ask him to take the plates away, which were full of grease from the meat. In the mean time, he was passing by the table and just ignoring it. After he took the plates, he vanished again. Did not ask if we wanted anything else, drinks, dessert, nothing. Also, we had to waive and ask him to clean the table. After a long wait, the waiter asked of we wanted dessert. So, was it over? Think again! The desserts were mixed up! The smoked pancake was in the plate it was supposed to be the classic pancake and vice versa. After waiving for a long time, another waiter passing by asked us what we needed and he said that could fix our order. The restaurant is not worth the bad services and the food is not that good. It is not worth the buzz, do yourself a favor and spend your money in a better experience.More

When I went there (April/2019) I was able to connect wifi to call Uber. Make sure to advise your Uber driver you are in the hotel lobby or go till the street. We had some trouble with our Uber because of this.
