This restaurant was near our hotel so it was a quick walk. We were the first diners. We ordered spinach with garlic, Suprema Chicken (breaded breast of chicken), a chicken cutlet with butter and garlic, red wine and water with gas. The meals arrived and...it was a lot of food. The chicken on both meals was excellent. Great staff.More

Basic meal, but Teo of us split a delicious steak cooked over a grill and a nice green salad and 1/2 bottle of wine. About $30 so quite reasonable and the server was very nice.

Had our best steak of the trip here. Fairly simple menu, very meat based and they do this really well. Had 2 delicious barbecued steaks that melted in the mouth, with a simple salad. Nothing to rave about you may say, given we are talking...about the home of good beef, but was made more memorable by the lovely owner who gave great service. Didn't speak English but we fumbled through ok and he was all smiles and trying to be helpful. So really enjoyed our evening. A couple of tips for newbies looking for steak places: don't be afraid to check the weight of the meat and ask to share if needed as our fillet was nearly double UK size so some got wasted. Also maybe go armed with a list of cuts in Spanish as it can be a bit confusing eg bife de chorizo is sirloin, not spanish sausage! Plus some translations seem to favour American names, eg we were unsure of lomo, as it seems to translate as tenderloin but I think that's what we'd call fillet in the UK. All a bit confusing but all are very tasty!More

Previous reviews are absolutely right: Julio truly is wonderful! Spanish menu only, but don’t worry, he’ll work with you to order exactly what you want. Steaks are a specialty, but many other menu options available. Both locals and tourists. Casual dress, great food, located close...to major hotels and Galleria Pacifico. First of all, he only speaks Spanish... yet in any language Julio is the best server e-v-e-r! We had so much fun trying to order and sample all this restaurant has to offer. From appetizers to steaks to dessert, the food here is 5 star...quality... without question!!! We arrived to a dining room full of locals and they never stopped coming. That's a great sign that you've found the right spot. Top notch quality, value... and an overall great night out. Two thumbs up!!More

This restaurant is just down the street from our hotel Alvea Arts Hotel. We gave it a go as there were some good reviews on TA. Very pleased we did. Despite the waiter Julio’s limited English and our very limited Spanish it was not a...problem. We went for the steak. We both ordered tenderloin (filet) medium and an excellent Malbec. Steak is cooked on a barbecue grill and was perfect. Juicy, tasty and so tender. They give you empanadas as a starter taster. These are like miniature Cornish pasties without potatoes and carrots. Very tender Argentinian beef. Our bill came to about £52 for two people and worth every penny.More

The best restaurant we ate in after trying a few other ones. The service is Excellent and the food is great. Every thing we ordered was fresh and delicious, and very big portions. There is one person that makes the atmosphere great, his name is...JULIO. The restaurant is clean and in a great location.More

The food here was excellent. I have had many lovely steaks so had chicken for a change which was lovely. One word of warning, the menu is all in Spanish and the night I was there the waiter did not speak any English. He was...very patient with me as I ordered in Spanish though.More

We chose here on the recommendation of our hotel after we asked for a real Argentinian steak meal. Food is cooked at an open grill in full view of customers. Fantastic steaks and Argentinian Malbec wine. Little in way of garnish but amazing meal and...very reasonable. 3 of us had large steaks, fries, salad and two bottles of Malbec for under £60. Great atmosphere and very friendly.More

Truly to die for rib eye steaks and ribs!!! English speaking waiter was very helpful and friendly and we tipped him 12%. Apparently it wasn't enough and he basically ignored us when we came back and a non English speaking waiter attended to us. Just...order one portion to share as the portions were gigantic and there is no need to order the vegetables as most of it was root vegetables.More

We found this restaurant by accident. Not much to look at from outside but we decided to try it for dinner. The food was excellent, the waiter friendly and efficient and if there was a negative, it was that the portions were huge. We liked...it so much that we went again the next night and this time shared a main. It was ample for us both. The place was quiet when we arrived. It was early. By the time we left it was buzzing and we thought they would need our table. Next day we were leaving BA but went back for lunch so we could enjoy it once more. Highly recommended for food, atmosphere, reasonable prices and lovely staff.More

HI, it would be less than 10 minutes, about 650 metres according to Google maps. I would walk through to the street it is on, Suipacha, and walk along this street. It is nicer than the busy road your hotel is on.
