This was one of a handful of my go-to places to eat during my recent stay in Palermo Soho for several weeks. This location is a great place for casual dining with plenty of outdoor seating and plenty of people watching. They have menus in English and they have a delicious sandwich including the salmon and brie with assorted greens... More

Breakfast with friends at Bartola in trendy Palermo SoHo. Decent food but very friendly and good service. The location is very good and atmosphere pleasant. We all had some different breakfast combos, I had scrambled eggs, bacon and some pieces of bread, with coffee and fresh squeezed juice. Good combo, coffee and great juice but unfortunately quite poor food. Overall... More

Bartola serves breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as little snacks and sweet treats. The breakfast ad good, although unfortunately they don't open until 10 am - I think it says 8.30h here... Try the mint lemonade, it's very tasty and refreshing!

My fiancé and I stopped here for breakfast/brunch after a sightseeing run around BA. The pastel coloured tables on the cobbled streets looked inviting and with Bohemian Rhapsody being played from inside we decided this place was worth a visit. We ordered breakfast, which seemed expensive however all breakfasts came with a coffee and orange juice, which was freshly squeezed... More

Cute spot in the trendy soho area of Palermo! Here you can sit, watch the passerby and have a beverage or snack! Great spot to sit!

I enjoyed going to Bartolas. There are two of them, across from one another. One serves mainly drinks and bar food and the other is more of a bistro. I had the best Brie omelette! Both are on a corner where you can watch people and relax and not be approached my people wanting to sell you things or ask... More

Situated on the most charming esquina of Palermo soho, brunch at Bartola is great and good value for money: 120 pesos for a coffe, a freshly pressed orange juice and a full plate. For 2, we shared a plate of scrambled eggs, bacon-like pancetta, oven potatoes and bread, and a delicious granola and yogurt with a generous bowl of fruits.... More

This is a nice place for simple food that takes care on flavor and freshness. The juices are very good, I had a wonderful coffee and some scrambled eggs. Good choice for warm afternoons.

Bartola corner was a great treat! The decor and ambiance was super funky (from the pastel tables to the banners and the basket lamp-shades) and comfortable, and the food was delicious, and presented beautifully. The highlight of the meal was definitely the peach/strawberry/orange smoothie. If you go, you MUST try it. The place was packed when we visited, which made... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
