You walk through the main restaurant Bumon and are placed into a room with 4 tables. The manager and sommelier Eugenia came to our table and explained how the menu worked. She asked about food restrictions which they are amazing about. They brought out an orange aperol which at first I wasn't thrilled with but then it became my new... More

well had really high expectations here, had been at their previous address, the new place was hard to find, back room of a café, very austere, there were just 4 tables, absolutely nothing else. Well menu is either 6 or 8 courses, and you can choose with fish or meat, we had 1 and 3 of each, unfortunately I and... More

We had the 6 course tasting menu which was more than ample and well presented. We also had 5 wines; 2 whites, 2 reds and a dessert wine. The wines were well explained and delicious, if a little too plentiful! It was a relaxed and unpretentious experience that I would definitely recommend. The service was attentive and welcoming.

We celebrated my wife's "milestone" birthday here in March of 2016 and had a really exceptional evening. We are from San Francisco and are used to great food in lots of SF and Napa locations. This was a first rate experience all around, not to be missed when in BA. I'd recommend choosing a wine pairing with a fixed menu... More

Casa Coupage consists of four tables in a separate room inside La Bumon restaurant. The two function with the same owners, but different dining concepts. We both chose the six course tasting menu, and I was allowed to substitute for one course that was an organ meat I prefer not to eat. The food was inventive, fresh, and delicious. Our... More

Last night we had 6 courses dinner in this restaurant with wine pairing! Why we went there? Coz we discovered a super good winery in Mendoza in which there was a restaurant, Casa Coupage, but it was just closed after lunch and we cannot have meal there. Our dinner was started around 8:xx pm but we left at mid night......... More

We heard about this place as being a puerto cerrada, however it has become a restaurant in and of itself. We made a reservation online and had our dinner in the tasting room, but there seemed to be a restaurant available to the public. We opted for a 6-course tasting menu instead of the 8-course, and still left stuffed. Part... More

A very good introduction to Argentinian wine. Specific grape varietals taste very different from their American/French counterparts. It really goes to show you that soil and climate really make the wine. If you are familiar with Argentinian wine, the libations offered are not mind-blowing. We opted for the 8 course pairing and 7 glass wine tasting. My opinion is you... More

We heard about this restaurant from friends in BA. It was originally a closed-door restaurant, it now seems to be open (we made reservations on 'restorando'). We enjoyed the degustation menu with a '5-wine' pairing. Santiago hosted a great wine tasting with very good explanations of each wine. But be careful with the heavy malbec with the 16% EtOH content,... More

Last Thursday we went to a wine dinner at Casa Coupage in Palermo Buenos Aires. We had a 7 course degustation menu with matching wines. The food was of a very high standard and very generous servings. The matching wine-2 glasses per course-was fantastic.Santiago, the host, was great at explaining the food and wine pairings. After a very lengthy dinner,we almost rolled out of the restaurant... Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
