This is where mostly locals go for real chorizo. It was fantastic, service was great, had a nice casual atmosphere and was relatively cheap.

I frequent this restaurant as it consistently delivers the best steak in Palermo. I usually order the Entrana and Ojo de Bife. Their provoleta is excellent as well. Highly recommend it.

Visited C&W on our first evening in BA with high hopes for a good introduction to the culinary delights of the city. The best thing about C&W is the open-air deck; from there it went downhill: the steak was poorly cooked with 'medium-rare' looking more like 'very well done,' the service was slow, if well-humoured, whilst the view - of... I've tried a good number of Palermo parrillas, and Chori & Wine is top notch. Dont let the name fool you, both locals and tourists eat at this family run establishment, in a barrio where that personal touch is growing scarce. When you cant be bothered to wait 45 minutes to an hour for a table at the tourist-filled Cabrera,... More

I first went about a month ago, and have been back twice since. I like it because the atmosphere is very relaxed. The portions are big and the service is good. Also lots of Argentines eat there which is a good sign

Really nice. Warm and welcoming atmosphere. Very helpful service with some english spoken. Tasty food with a good range of dishes on offer. Had a decent range for those of us who don't eat meat. The pasta and salad were really good.

My wife and I have eaten 3 times at Chori and Wine and recommend it all round. The Ojo de Bife is excellent and Jorge appreciates that a foreign dinner might appreciate it less well done than many Argentine diners. The Caesar salad is huge and fresh. As the name suggests there is an impressive wine list to compliment the... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
