Perfect food and excellent service. Goid old style Argentinian restaurant. The Beffe de Chorizo was cooked to perfection, the Malbec wine completed the symphonies of flavors and tastes. Service was polite, accommodating and professional.

Even though we don't speak Spanish waiter was so nice and warm. I'm sure he has been in the business for long time. Food was great and very affordable. Their menu was in Spanish and English that was so helpful and nice. Very cozy restaurant....I went to another popular restaurant in Palermo and paid double but I thought this restaurant was better and cheaper. I know everybody is different but I noticed if you order medium well in Argentina your meat is pretty much well done so better to stick with medium. Better to have early dinner in Buenos Aires because restaurant is less busy and more peaceful.More
What a lovely restaurant with excellent service! The food is really good! We had a great ribeye steak with hand cut fries and a refreshing side salad, accompanied by a full bodied Malbec wine. Delicious! The welcome at the door is warm and sincere and...the service polite and thoughtful. This was my second visit and I look forward to the next!More
Cero 5 is an absolute find in Buenos Aires. Of course there are so many options for Parilla’s but we enjoyed our meal so much we returned again. The restaurant is cosy, the staff are polite and attentive and the steaks are amazing and cooked...to perfection. Our server Juan was friendly, helpful and looked after us on our visits to the restaurant. Prices are reasonable especially given the high quality food. I would 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Buenos Aires.More
Went here twice….it’s fabulous. They have a steak with peppercorn sauce or mushroom sauce with chips for around 2400pesos. The quality of the setting in this place and the value is unbeatable. Amazing food. Friendly staff.
My wife and I came here on a Saturday night. It was full, but the usher managed to find us a table. The service is impeccable. The place is small, so all the people together makes for an agitated atmosphere. We liked it. We ordered...ojo de bife with a side of mashed potatoes and pasta. The meat is amazing. The pasta is good. At the end, we paid a reasonable amount for what we had. Would come back, definitely.More
What an amazing find. My first day in Buenos Aires, feeling tired after a long day and night of travelling from the UK. I just wanted a nice meal fairly close to my hotel and this place was literally a stones throw from where I...am staying. The steak was cooked to perfection, the wine was lovely and it was all very reasonably price. The staff were lovely and very attentive. A lovely family run business and they truly care about pleasing their customers I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting BA. You won’t be disappointedMore
Wonderful! Best restaurant we ate at while in Buenos Aires! The chorizo was fantastic, the potatoes Provençal were excellent, the filet mignon was very good. Great service, we told the waiter we had to catch a show so he got us out in time. Sat...next to a friendly couple who we spent the evening talking to. Great experience, excellent food. Highly recommendMore
We chose this restaurant for lunch because it had great reviews and was on the same block as our hotel. I ordered a vegetable empanada and eggplant parmesan appetizer since we were planning to have a large dinner on a food tour (I'm normally vegan)....I received a bowl of arugula with cucumbers and celery (a language mixup) and the quite tasty eggplant parmesan. The sauce was really good. My empanada was dry and definitely not as good as one I had for dinner. Perhaps we would have been impressed if we had ordered steak.More
My wife had two meals at this smaller place, one block off the 9 de Julio. Both meals were outstanding. Fresh, simple ingredients prepared perfectly. Equally important, the service was friendly and helpful. (My wife and I don’t speak Spanish, so the staff had to...be very patient with us.) I would gladly go back. :)More
We recently ate at Parilla Cero 5 and loved it. We stopped for lunch on three different occasions during our recent trip to Buenos Aries. We were served twice by a gentleman with knowledge of English. He was extremely helpful in understanding what we were...trying to order. We ate outside twice due to Covid and were shaded with nice umbrellas. The first time we ordered empanadas, which were great. The next two times we had ½ each of Ojo de Bife and French fries. The steak was wonderful! The last time we visited we decided to sit inside. It was very hot outside and we could easily social distance, as it was late afternoon. We ordered the steak and a bottle of wine. Our waiter suggested a different bottle (Alambrado Malbec) which we tried. It was wonderful. Overall, the food and the wine were consistently delicious! When it came time to pay, I did not think I had enough pesos and was going to pay the rest in dollars. I called the waiter over and explained my dilemma. He looked at the pesos I put down and slowly counted them out for me. Showing how I had plenty of pesos to pay, with several left over. Wow, great food and very kind and honest staff! Don’t miss this wonderful restaurant if you are visiting BuenosMore
The hotel I stayed at was a few hundred feet away so went initially because of convenience. The incredible scent was alluring upon entering the restaurant. They had this large unique rounded triangular glass smoker that slow-roasted meats. It was heaven to smell the wood...and meat together. The service was exceptional. Suffice it to say the 10 days we were in Buenos Aires we ate there almost nightly. From the mega huge steaks to the forearm sized rib, both easily cut with a fork alone, Argentina's reputation for top-notch beef did not disappoint at all. On top of the superb friendly service and the exceptional quality of food, the price was remarkably very reasonable. Today Facebook sent me one of those "2-year memory" messages. I surely miss this restaurant and without question, and when I return to B.A., I would return again and again to this restaurant. PS: "The date when asked when did I visit" wouldn't let me out in Aug 2018. So I selected the oldest I could.More
We went to this parilla twice. The first time the fillet steak was very good and accurately cooked. We returned two weeks later and had a very different experience. The steak was very overcooked and not as good a cut of meat. It was tough...and dry. We sent it back but were not offered a replacement. The waiter tried to argue with us that it was correctly cooked but was clearly in the wrong (we had previously had many steaks in Argentina without a problem including in this restaurant!). They didn't even remove it from the bill until we refused to pay for it. We left hungry and out of pocket, having paid for drinks and the side orders.More
We went based on reviews on trip advisor. Felt the reviews over sold it a little compared to other venues. Very busy but the waiter found us a table and generally the service and waiting on staff were excellent. The steak was good but not...fantastic as we had hoped.More
Recommended this restaurant by friends who visited twice whilst in BA . Very good choice it is too. Attentive staff with helpful suggestions regarding portion sizes . Extensive choices on menu, excellent rib eye steak, unusual chopped rocket salad. Visual aid for steak cooking available,...very useful indeed but they will cook it again for you if you’re not happy with your choice. Delicious casa flan. Good wine selection. Great value and tasty meal.More
