We went as two couples to Plaza Mayor, looking for a change of scene from grilled meat in Buenos Aires. Unfortunately, this Spanish-themed restaurant fell down on service but particularly on quality. My friend's bacalao was not very good at all. Adding insult to injury...More

Nostalgic photos on walls, liked decor and ambience. Great paella, wine selection, good service. Nice place to visit, but pricey ,especially being in Buenos Aires where you have a great selection of places to eat.

A bit pricey but well worth the visit for the ambience and the tortillas españoles. Right across the street from BABikes so a great place to stop for lunch after a morning ride.

The place is always full. The food is great, the service not quite so. I specially recommend the "Tortilla a la Española" (potato and onion fritatta with chorizo and peppers). They make a DELICIOUS "pannetonne", that can be had for dessert or bought whole to...More

We went for dinner and had the paella, it was good but I definitely expected better. For dessert I had "zapallo en almibar" with whipped cream, that was excellent.

this connection to history: countless public
