Believe it or not there is a Western Sizzler in Argentina and we found it please don't go. My husband is Argentinian so I have had AMAZING asada in BA for years. This was by far the worst ever! The steak was DRY like shoe leather, the sweet breads were rubber, the ravioli was Costco. The only highlight was empanadas... More

A true reputation... This restaurant is nicely decorated, with a great location and good service. The food is excellent (lomo, asado...) and the wine really good (Malbec) Highly recommended for meet lovers

I din't enjoy my meal here that much. Four out of 6 persons had to send their steak back because it was way overcooked. I choose a steak with grilled vegetables on the side who where very hard to find because they were so tiny. After we send the steak back it was good and medium-rare. Considering this is an... More

The most popular steakhouse in the Palermo neighborhood. Always crowded and reservations a must. All food is excellent and good wine list. We ask for the "moyejas" or grilled sweetbreads and a steak (Ojo de Bife) and perfectly prepared.

This place is great to have a nice steak. The place is very very cozy, the service is also friendly and fast. The meat selection is superb, and wine selection is one of the best I had in Argentina. The food is high quality, cooked in perfection. Just make sure you go there early or reserve cause this place gets... More

We had a reservation at 8:30 pm. When we got there, there was a bunch of people outside. The restaurant actually opens at 8:30, so every guest must go to the door, announce himself and then wait to be called after they open. However as soon as we got in, things got better. We had an amazing waiter (Emmanuel), who... More

I can't tell in words how good the meat is. This parrilla restaurant is excellent, reservations are mandatory because it gets really crowded. The "bife de chorizo", the "ojo de bife" and the "asado de tira" are the best options (ask rare if you like, because Argentinians eat their meat well-done). Much cheaper than Cabana Las Lilas in Puerto Madero.

Everyone we know who have visited Buenos Aires and everything we've read about dining experiences pointed to a visit to La Cabrera. So we did. The place is a lot of fun, colorful and quirkily decorated. The portions are huge and are meant to be shared -- we had the mixed salad, short ribs, steak, sweetbread and fusilli, and a... More

Lots of people recommended this place for. Good steak... and it was fantastic. Very good and friendly service, recommended the right meat, quantity and cut. Wine was very good although pricy but the meat quality, the many side-dishes you get and the atmosphere were fantastic. Must go place!

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
