If you are in Argentina and do you want to go to a really good italian restaurant, i think that this is one of the bests. All the plates are incredible but you should try the Burrata and any of the risottos. The dress code is a little more elegant, it's a fancy restaurant.

This restaurant is along the waterfront at Puerto Madero, a short taxi ride from most hotels. The staff were very helpful in explaining the menu and making suggestions. The main course is served Family Style so we shared an extremely good bowl of pasta. We also shared an appetiser. Good simple Italian food!

Loved our meal at Marcelo in Puerto Madero. Great view of the harbour outside. Delicious pasta dishes - sauces are so fresh and amazing tasting. Pasta plates are served family style, for at least two people, so we ended up sharing two dishes among four people. Service is slow so prepare yourself for a long but enjoyable meal.

We enjoyed many aspects of our meal - lovely wine, starters and dessert and an attentive waiter. However the high cover charge, direct request for a cash tip and sauces which were so heavy and creamy they overwhelmed our chicken and pasta made for a disappointing and expensive evening.

I feel like I went to restaurant next to my home. The waiters made you feel comfortable. The pasta was great. Bread and wine were perfect. Love it!

My son's ½ portion of pasta with butter cost almost as much as my ribeye from Don Julio. To be fair, the location is beautiful, right on the water in Puerto Madero. It's an expensive part of town and we were prepared to spend for dinner. But the food was just okay. My wife and I split the spaghetti all'amatriciana.... More

Top quality food, superb ingredients, with many typical dishes that are not found in all restaurants. Great professional and courteous service.

The service was excellent, the food was good, the place was very nice, but I do not think it was worth the expensive price.

I fully recommend this Restaurant. It's located in Puerto Madero neighborhood, very cute. They have the best spinach ravioli and Spaghetti in Buenos Aires. The service is awesome, I recommend to make a reservation.

Staying in Puerto Madero

Neighbourhood Profile
Puerto Madero
From its refurbished red brick buildings and port cranes to its modern skyscrapers and luxurious apartment buildings, Puerto Madero is the perfect combination of old and new. The river provides a quiet, relaxing atmosphere that contrasts with the hustle and bustle of heavy traffic just blocks away. Across the river, flanked by skyscrapers, are beautiful parks and quiet streets that make this neighbourhood a unique destination in a city as busy as Buenos Aires. The restaurants, bars, and nightclubs on the docks make it a prime spot for nights out and have come to symbolise this area. Puerto Madero is even more striking after dark, when the lights from the docks and skyscrapers glow against the night sky.
