I was here for dinner and was pleasantly surprised by the decoration and the food. Ordered the truffled risotto and it was very good.

The food is terribly bad and too expensive. Tortilla seemed to be a leftover and no taste. Empanadas too oily and almost without filling. Decoration is beautiful and service is fine.

We were hesitant at first for a few reasons but ended up totally enjoying our experience at Casacruz. Dinner was delicious. Staff were friendly and attentive. The decor and ambience is beautiful. Dinner music perfect. We brought in the new year happily.

The place is lovely, very chic. The food outstanding. Have to tolerate the service which was very poor. The food and wine make up for it

This place has good food, and is in a good location. The restaurant is decorated elegantly, the type of place you can dress up to visit, but the service is kinda slow and inattentive. Could be better ….

Nice ambience, as many here mentioned, in a 90's kind of way. But still nice. The service is ghastly. We spent 3 hours in there trying to have lunch, 40 minutes of which were spent waiting for them to take the dishes away for dessert. Food was rather ordinary. Way too expensive. Would never recommend this.

Decent food, good service, nice ambience, a bit pricey, however... (and take this however you'd like) The interior looks like the kind of place that a corrupt governor would eat in a movie set in the 1990s.

Tonight is our last night at Buenos Aires and our hotel recommended Casa Cruz to us for dinner. I like everything about this restaurant; from the hostess, atmosphere, server, to the food we ordered. Everything was excellent. The servers were polite and friendly. The food (shrimp with heart of pine and avocado, catch of the day, skirt steak, and grilled... More

Nice decor and great atmosphere. The food was very good but also pretty pricy for Buenos Aires. However, the service is very mediocre. They focus on some local celebrities and other guests are in the spectator's role. E.g., I did not get my wine with the dinner because the sommelier was chatting around with some friends for half an hour....... More

We stumbled into Casa Cruz as it was right next to our hotel and boy were we grateful that we did. Great service, classy drinks and even though we didn't have dinner; it looked pretty decent from the menu. Very swanky atmosphere without the price tag. Friendly service.

Staying in Palermo

Neighbourhood Profile
Best known as the largest neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favourite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
