Great place to finish off the day after a long hike around the walls of the old city of Antioch. Highly recommend trying to get the tables on the balcony. Lots of atmosphere. Live music on the usual days. Watch out for the humanitarian crowd on a Friday evening.

I think this is the only place that serves Somersby cider. You MUST try the pizza, all ingredients are organic and homemade.

There are so many great places to eat in Antakya, this is another based on the second floor with an open roof so if you are a smoker you can puff away in peace. There are also no smoking areas. A very good selection of local food well presented and very good quality. Drinks are available but warning in all... More

I think the title sums up my opinion. The fresh fish is definitely worth the trip- cold beer, excellent desserts (traditional), and very flavorful mezze,

I tried a number of different restaurants in Antakya recently and this one was the best. Limited enough range of food but well executed and even simple things like french fries were superbly done. Clean, well lt, nice atmosphere and good service.

I arrived in Gaziantep, the trip from Antakya is three hours. The Bus station for Gaziantep is far out of town, I took a city bus for 1 pound to the city center and stayed at the Hotel for 70 YTL a night after bargaining down from 100 YTL, although without a fan, but with a private bathroom and free... Went looking for this restaurant only to be told by our hotel Concierge that it was next door to our hotel at Silahli Kuvvetler Cad No 3. The food was wonderful, not your usual boring hummus and breads but interesting vegetarian dishes. This town seems to be full of 'greasy spoon' type kebab shops, whereas here it was fresh, healthy... But we insisted and they accepted to serve us the fix menu of the grouo, the owners are a family and also working in there, we saw the menu and the prices were... More

After sampling a couple of restaurants in Antakya, the Antakya Evi was the overall best one. Located in an old house, the setting is extremely cosy and homely. Indeed, the foods are like home food. Atmosphere and service are excellent - a family-run restaurant. English menu. Overall better than the well known centrally located restaurants - you won't be disappointed.
