You dine amidst the heavy machinery and industrial equipment left from the past. The food is so so, but the service was friendly. If you like out of the ordinary, this one's for you.

A lovely meal here - my steak was cooked to perfection and my wife's lamb was literally falling off the bone. We enjoyed a very nice bottle of Jordan Syrah too from their extensive wine list.

Despite it being chilly we elected to eat lunch outside and were served by a charming chap. The food was delivered in a reasonable time frame- we shared a halloumi salad to start, a decent sized portion - then had the hake tempura which my...More

We arrived late for dessert, with the tables at the front of house closing down at the end of the business day. We sat in the reception lounge area of the hotel, where we received prompt attention and service, and enjoyed a well made pannacotta...More

Great setting, with good coffee. Comfortable, warm environment that gives a feeling of holiday. Beautiful décor and affordable selection of eats. Would have love to try the Butternut Cheesecake though!

Our waitress was terrible . Got the order wrong and had zero personality. Very disappointing. The floors were also grubby and empty tables hadn't been cleared.More

Admittedly, we were a large group (10) and hadn't booked but they weren't busy. They clearly attend to hotel guests long before any attention is placed on outside eaters. Took forever for a table - we started moving tables and chairs around ourselves! However, food...More

This charming restaurant is close to our accommodation on Thesen Island. We sat outside and enjoyed a decent cup of coffee in front of one of the canals. The service was quick and efficient. My salmon and rocket open omelette was delicious. The breakfast voucher...More

We visited on a late Sunday afternoon, without a booking, when it was very quiet and then sat in the bar area having walked through the restaurant area to the pub end past the old turbines. We hadn't realised it's part of the Turbine hotel...More
